This Part shall be used in conjunction with GB 14536.1- 2008, Automatic Electrical Controls for Household and Similar Use - Part 1: General Requirements. This Part was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Part replaces GB 14536.16-2000, Particular Requirements for Electric Actuators. The major changes of this Part compared with GB 14536.16-2000 are as follows: 1) IEC Foreword is deleted; 2) 6.1.1 of Clause 6 was “delete two explanatory paragraphs”; and not it is added with “AC controls”. 6.3.102 is the newly-added content; 3) 7.3.1 of Clause 7 is the newly-added content; 4) the newly added content applies to the figures in GB 14536.1; 5) the modifications of the requirements of Annex H: the newly-added content includes H.11, H.11.12, H.11.12.8, H.11.12.8.1, H.26.1, H.26.5.3, H.26.5.3.101, H.26.8, H.26.8.3, H.26.9.3, H.26.9.3.101, H.26.13.3, H.26.13.3.101, H.26.14, H.26.14.3, H.26.14.3.101, H.26.15.4; the deleted content includes H.26.4, H.26.5.4, H.26.5.4.101, H.26.7, H.26.9, H.26.9.101, H.26.11; and H.26.13 is changed from the former “conformity assessment” into the “test of influence of supply frequency variations”. This Part equivalently adopts International Electrotechnical Commission IEC 60730-2- 14, Automatic Electrical Controls for Household and Similar Use - Part 2-14: Particular Requirements for Electric Actuators (Edition 1.2, 2008), using the method of translation etc. The structure of this Part is the same as that of IEC 60730-2-14:2008. In this Part, if there is a corresponding national standard, refer to the national standard; and if there is no national standard for the time being, refer to the IEC standard listed. For the convenience of use, the following editorial modifications are made in this Part: a) the words “this Standard” is changed into “this Part”; b) the decimal point “.” is used to replace the comma “,” that is acted as the decimal point; c) the foreword of the national standard is added. This Part was proposed by China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association. This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee 212 on Automatic Controls of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 212).
