1 Scope

This part of GB/T 9966 specifies the principles, equipment, sample preparation, and test procedures of the salt spray aging resistance test of natural stone. Steps, test results and test reports. This section applies to the determination of salt spray aging resistance of natural stone.

3 Principle

The sample is placed in the aging box of the atomized salt solution for 4h, and then dried for 8h, and the cycle is repeated 60 times to assess the quality loss and appearance change.

4 Equipment

4.1 Test box. It can complete the salt spray and drying alternate cycle device (see Figure 1), and the temperature is controlled at (35 ± 5) ℃. 4.2 Spray device. A device that sprays the salt solution into the box, including atomizing nozzles and deflector plates, to avoid direct spraying to the sample. 4.3 Two atomization collectors. the horizontal collection area is about 8000mm2 (that is, a glass funnel with a diameter of 100mm is inserted into the measuring cylinder). 4.4 Blast drying oven. the temperature can be controlled at (65±5)℃. 4.5 Balance. the measuring range is not less than 500g, and the measurement accuracy is not less than 0.1g. 4.6 Conductivity meter. can measure the conductivity of water, select salt solution and distilled water. 4.7 Sodium chloride solution. use sodium chloride with a purity level of not less than 95% and steam with a conductivity of not more than 20μS/cm at (25±2)℃ Prepare distilled water or deionized water, dissolve (10±1) parts of sodium chloride in 90 parts of distilled or deionized water to obtain a concentration of (100±1) 10) g/L solution, then filter or pour out. 4.8 Desiccator. a sealed container that can hold at least one set of samples with a built-in desiccant. ......
