1 Scope

This document specifies the materials and pressure reduction systems of reinforced polyethylene composite pipes (hereinafter referred to as "composite pipes") wound with continuous fiberglass tape for water supply. This document is applicable to composite pipes for general purpose pressure water transmission and drinking water transmission and distribution where the water temperature is not higher than 40°C.
