1 Scope

This document provides the protection principles, pre-rescue preparations, protection during rapid plateau disaster emergency rescue teams, and plateau rescue Guidelines for protection and security, post-rescue recovery. This document is applicable to emergency rescue personnel who rush from areas below 3000m to plateaus above 3000m to carry out disaster rescue. Prevention and damage protection of altitude sickness, prevention and damage protection of acute altitude sickness in search and rescue dogs, and protection of rescue equipment. This document does not apply to the judgment and treatment of acute and severe altitude sickness such as high altitude pulmonary edema and high altitude cerebral edema among rescuers.
