1 Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography method for the determination of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene content in stationery products. This standard is applicable to the content of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene in products such as altered stationery, writing stationery, painting paints, adhesive stationery, etc. Determination. 3 Principle

After the sample is prepared into a test sample, it is injected into the gas chromatograph. Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene (o-xylene, m-xylene and p-xylene) Benzene) is completely separated from the coexisting substances in the capillary chromatographic column, then measured with a hydrogen flame ionization detector and quantified with an external standard method.

4 Reagents and materials
