1 Scope

This standard specifies the test method for determining the dimensional change of fabric after steam ironing. This standard applies to all kinds of fabrics.

3 General

The test method for dimensional change of fabric after steam ironing mainly includes the use of flat steam press ironing test method and industrial steaming Steam iron ironing test method. The test method using the flat steam press machine is described in Chapter 4 ~ Chapter 9; Appendix A.

4 Principle

Steam ironing of the fabric on a flat steam press under specified pressure, temperature and time conditions, determining the fabric before and after ironing The rate of change in size.
