1 Scope

This part of GB/T 37663 specifies outdoor empirical tests for crystalline silicon and thin film photovoltaic modules (except concentrating photovoltaic modules) for the ground. Requirements, including sample requirements, test conditions, installation requirements, test procedures, results processing, etc. This section applies to the PV modules used in the distributed photovoltaic power generation system of China's “wet and hot” climate zone as specified in GB/T 4797.1. Photovoltaic modules used in large-scale ground-based photovoltaic power plants, as well as China's “sub-humidity” climate zone can also be implemented. This section does not apply to double-sided PV modules.
