1 Scope

This standard gives guidelines for towing procedures for cargo ships and passenger ships in accordance with SOLAS regulation II-1/3-4 in emergency situations. New cargo ships shall be provided on January 1,.2010 and beyond, and the required ship emergency towing procedures shall be provided. All passenger ships shall be on January 1,.2010.
