1 Scope

This standard specifies the measurement conditions and instruments, measurement procedures, measurement data processing and measurement reports of marine diesel engine sulfur oxide emissions. This standard applies to bench test measurements of marine diesel engine sulfur oxides.

3 Measurement conditions and instruments

3.1 Measurement conditions 3.1.1 Test condition parameters 3.1.1.1 For naturally aspirated and supercharged diesel engines, the test condition parameters fa are calculated according to equation (1); for cold air with or without intake air However, the turbocharged engine has a test condition parameter fa calculated according to equation (2).
