1 Scope

This standard is to minimize asbestos hazards during shipbreaking and to reduce asbestos emissions in the environment and workers exposed to asbestos. Provide an effective method. This standard is intended to help shipbreakers meet the requirements of the.2009 Hong Kong International Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Dismantling of Ships [5].

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 2.1 Asbestos asbestos Various fibrous silicate minerals, including asbestos, asbestos, asbestos, asbestos, crocidolite, tremolite Cotton and so on. 2.2 Asbestos-containing material containing asbestos; ACM Materials with more than one percent asbestos or materials as defined by national regulations.
