Introduction

Off-road forklifts, with their unique structure and the variety of accessories they can be equipped with, are capable of doing the work of many different types of vehicles and are widely used in developed countries. It is widely used, and foreign countries already have a complete technical standard system for off-road forklifts. At present, some domestic manufacturers have also entered this field. The international high-end market has strict entry requirements. In order to break the technical trade barriers, we have accelerated the international standard transformation of off-road forklifts. Process, so that the safety requirements and verification methods of our country's off-road forklifts can be aligned with international standards as soon as possible. GB/T 35205 "Safety requirements and verification of off-road forklifts" aims to establish safety requirements and verification methods for off-road forklifts. GB/T 35205 intends to publish the following parts. --- Part 1.Telescopic forklifts. The purpose is to specify the safety requirements and verification of telescopic forklifts. --- Part 2.Rotary forklifts. The purpose is to specify the safety requirements and verification of rotary forklifts. --- Part 4.Additional requirements for telescopic forklifts carrying freely swinging loads. The purpose is to specify the requirements for lifting freely swinging loads. Safety requirements and verification of additional requirements for telescopic forklifts carrying loads. --- Part 5.Connection devices for telescopic forklifts and integrated personnel working platforms. The purpose is to specify the connection devices for telescopic forklifts and integrated personnel working platforms. Safety requirements and verification of connections between integrated personnel work platforms. --- Part 6.Tilted cab. The purpose is to specify the installation of tilted cabs on telescopic forklifts and slewing forklifts security requirements and verification. --- Part 7.Longitudinal load moment system. The purpose is to specify the design, Security requirements and verification. Safety requirements and verification of truck-mounted forklifts are given in ISO 20297-1. Safety requirements and verification of off-road forklifts Part 1.Telescopic forklifts

1 Scope

This document specifies the general safety requirements for off-road non-swinging telescopic forklifts (hereinafter referred to as "forklifts"). A type frame equipped with a telescopic lifting device (articulated arm), which is usually equipped with a pick-up device (such as a fork carriage with forks). Integral attachments are considered part of the truck. Note. These forklifts are also called forklifts or telescopic handlers. Forklifts in this document are designed to transport, lift and place loads and to travel on ungraded terrain. Equipped with various load-bearing and non-load-bearing attachments or interchangeable equipment (such as forks, bale forks, mowers, sweepers). In addition to the relevant provisions of this document, other documents apply to these accessories. This document does not apply to the following. a) Industrial telescopic forklifts covered by ISO 3691-2; b) machines designed primarily for earthmoving operations (e.g. loaders), even if their buckets are replaced by forks (see ISO 20474-3); c) Forklifts with articulated frames; d) Designed to be carried primarily by variable length hoisting suspension members (e.g. wire ropes, chains) and to allow the load to swing freely in all directions Machinery (mobile cranes); e) Vehicles equipped with personnel/working platforms, designed to lift personnel to the appropriate working position; f) Vehicles designed primarily for the handling of containers. The major hazards involved in this document are listed in Appendix A. This document does not involve the hazards that may occur in the following situations. --- During the manufacturing process; --- When carrying suspended loads that can swing freely (see ISO 10896-4); --- When used on roads; --- When used in potentially explosive atmospheres; --- When batteries, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or hybrid power is used as the main power source.
