1 Scope

This Standard specifies test conditions, test methods and test records for reliability and durability of four wheeled all-terrain vehicles. This Standard is applicable to the reliability and durability test of four wheeled all-terrain vehicles.

3 Test conditions

3.1 Test preparation specified in the on-board technical documents. The load mass of other types of all-terrain vehicles is a driver weighing 75kg. Performance test loading mass is carried out in accordance with relevant standards. 3.2.4 It is not allowed to adjust the test vehicle during the performance test. 3.3 Suspension test condition If one of the following situations is found during the test, the test shall be suspended, or the test shall be continued after the special improvement. a) Steering and braking systems do not ensure safe driving; b) The test cannot be continued due to breakage, de-soldering, etc. of the frame or its welded joint; c) Serious damage to the assembly to be inspected during the test needs to be replaced; d) Electrical system failure causes hidden dangers that cannot be eliminated on site. 3.4 Test road requirements 3.4.1 Reliability and durability test roads shall generally include. a) Sand stone pavement. natural uncompacted flat pavement of which the base layer of the pavement is mainly composed of gravel and sand; the principle of gravel is no more than 30mm, and the content of gravel is 50%~60% of the composition of the base material; b) Bumpy road. the roadbed is solid, but the road surface is uneven, and there shall be obvious seesaw waves; the pavement flatness is E or below; when the test vehicle is driving on the road, it shall be subjected to strong vibration and twisting load, but it shall not have too much impact; c) Slope road surface. the average longitudinal slope of the pavement is not less than 10%, and the pavement flatness is above level C; d) Wading road. the road surface is flat, the average thickness of the water layer is not less than 30mm, and the sand content is not less than 30%; e) Flat road. in line with national first- and second-class road requirements, the road surface is wide and straight, and the view is good. 3.4.2 Reliability and durability test can be carried out on a specific closed road surface in the test site, or it can select to test the specific road surface that is small in traffic flow and is suitable for driving or testing safety. 4.4.2.2 The mileage of the walk-in during the test, the mileage of the inspection, the mileage of the performance test, etc. shall be included in the test mileage of the flat road. 4.4.3 Driving test requirements and specifications 4.4.3.1 The driving test shall be carried out according to the requirements of the relevant product technical documents or other devices, switches, etc., such as lights, speakers, glass windows (if any), doors (if any), etc. Appropriate adjustments can be made according to different vehicle types, models, test purposes, etc. during specific tests. 4.4.3.2 All kinds of pavements are cycled as proportionally as possible, for mixed driving. 4.4.3.3 In case of extreme weather effects, such as rain and snow, the relevant driving test shall be delayed. 4.4.3.4 Driving operation is as follows. a) Transmission use (if any). the transmission shall be used correctly during the whole test, and it shall not be slid in neutral. It shall stop at least 10min for every 50km, and continuously shift when starting; b) Speed. when ensuring safety, drive at the speed of the product technical documentation; c) Braking. in every 10km driving, at least brake to parking 2 times; d) Driving test mileage. 10% of night driving mileage shall be included. Allow to turn on the light during the day to replace night driving. 4.4.3.5 During the driving test, the test vehicle can be inspected, adjusted and maintained according to the maintenance manual or the relevant product technical documents. All kinds of faults and parts replacement shall be counted in the fault statistics. The fault statistics are implemented in accordance with the provisions of QC/T 903. 4.4.4 Reliability and durability evaluation calculation 4.4.4.1 After the reliability and durability test, evaluate the first fault mileage, average fault interval mileage, equivalent failure rate, and comprehensive assessment score of the prototype. 4.4.4.2 The calculation method for reliability and durability evaluation is performed in accordance with the provisions of QC/T 903. ......
