1 Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements, test procedures, calculation results and test reports for the determination of soot emission rate of ship arc welding. This standard is applicable to the determination of the welding exhaust emissions and the soot emission of the electrode under the laboratory environment.

3 General requirements
