1 Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of soil microbial respiration in aerobic and unsaturated soils. This method is suitable for the addition of substrates (substrate induction Respiration) or no substrate (basal breath) under the conditions of oxygen consumption or the determination of carbon dioxide emissions.
