1 Scope

This standard specifies the method for determination of food simulants 4-methyl-1-pentene. This standard applies to water, 3% (mass concentration) solution of acetic acid, 10% (volume fraction) ethanol and other water-based food simulants and olive oil Determination of 4-methyl-1-pentene content. 4 Reagents and materials

Measure 100mL anhydrous ethanol (4.3) in 1L flask, water volume. 4.8 4-methyl-1-pentene standard stock solution (1mg/mL). Weigh 25mg (accurate to 0.1mg) 4-methyl-1-pentene standard (4.1) in the Pre-filled with 20mLDMAC (4.5) of 25mL volumetric flask, using DMAC volume. Should be protected from light, temperature -20 ℃ ~ 10 ℃, Valid for three weeks. 4.9 4-methyl-1-pentene intermediate standard solution (10μg/mL). amount of 8mLDMAC (4.5) in 10mL volumetric flask. 100μL4- stock standard solution-methyl-1-pentene (4.8), the DMAC volume.
