Information index sign1 ScopeThis Part of GB/T 20501 defines the composition of the information index sign; specifies the design principle, content requirements and layout requirements of the information index sign. The function information is composed as follows. - mainly composed of graphic symbols with auxiliary text (see Figure 1); 6.2 When the location information is composed of the name or number of the area, the location information and the corresponding function information shall be arranged from top to bottom or from left to right in the order of the area name or number. 6.3 When the location information is composed of the floor number, the location information and the corresponding function information shall be arranged from top to bottom column or multi columns in the actual order of the floor in the sign layout. When arranged in multi columns, the information of the next column shall be at the right of the previous column. 6.4 The information index sign on the layout shall highlight the current location of the area or floor information (see Figure 1 and Figure 4).
