This revised standard adopts ASTMD777-97 (2002) "performance test methods and flame-retardant paper standard cardboard burning" (in English). test Into account China's national conditions, the use ASTMD777-97 (2002), the present standard do some modifications. 1 Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for flame combustion properties of paper and paperboard. Test method comprising. a) Test Method A. mainly used by fire-retardant treatment, and after flooding washed retardant effect by the paper or paperboard significant effect; b) Test Method B. mainly used by fire-retardant treatment, and after flooding washed retardant effect is not significantly affected by the paper or paperboard. This standard applies to not more than 1.6mm thickness of paper and paperboard.
