1 Scope

This document specifies the quality and technical requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, labels and accompanying documents, packaging, and storage of boar semen at room temperature. Storage, transportation, shelf life, and disposal of substandard products. This document applies to commercial boar semen products at room temperature.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Boar Boars whose body appearance and performance quality meet the requirements of this breed standard and have breeding value. Note. It comes from a breeding farm or boar station with a "breeding livestock and poultry production and operation license" and "animal epidemic prevention certificate", or a qualified pig performance testing station. 3.2 Room temperature semen liquidsemen The collected boar semen is the semen that has been diluted but not frozen at room temperature (16°C-18°C). 3.3 Semenconcentration The number of sperm contained in each milliliter of semen. 3.4 Sperm motility The degree of forward movement sperm activity in semen.
