5.1.1 Measuring ruler, non-retractable, with a graduation value of 1 mm.
5.1.2 Gray scale for assessing change in color (GB/T 250).
5.1.3 1/12 color cards of standard depths for dyeing with dyestuffs (GB/T 4841.3).

accordance with the provisions of GB/T 14801 and the results shall be calculated using Formula
(1).
Where.
S - the degree of yarn skewness in the warp or weft direction, in %;
d - the maximum vertical distance between the warp or weft yarn and the ruler, in mm;
W - the width of the measuring part, in mm.
5.3.4 When evaluating the degree of color difference, the yarn direction of the evaluated part
shall be consistent. The incident light shall be at an angle of about 45° to the fabric surface; and
the observation direction shall be perpendicular to the fabric surface. Visual inspection shall be
performed at a distance of 60 cm and compared with the sample scale in GB/T 250.
5.3.5 When determining the allowable degree of appearance defects, visual inspection shall be
are both shrinkage and elongation test results, the average value of the 2 shrinkage (or
elongation) specimens shall be taken as the test result.
5.4.3 The color fastness to dry cleaning shall be determined according to the method described
