1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product model, requirements,
tests, determination rules, instruction for use of product, packaging,
transportation, storage of knitted sportswear.
This standard applies to the identification of the quality of sportswear which is
made of knitted fabrics as the main fabric.
This standard does not apply to infant clothing that is 36 months old or younger.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Fluorescent color
A fluorescent color that appears after being illuminated by a UV lamp.
4 Product model
It is performed according to GB/T 1335 or GB/T 6411.
5 Requirements
5.1 Requirements
Requirements are divided into two aspects. intrinsic quality and appearance
quality.
5.2 Grading requirements
5.2.1 Quality grades are divided into superior products, first-grade products,
qualified products.
5.2.2 Intrinsic quality is graded by batches. The appearance quality is graded
by pieces. The combination of both is graded based on the minimum grade.
5.3 Intrinsic quality requirements
5.3.1 The internal quality requirements are as shown in Table 1.

5.3.2 Children garments shall also comply with the relevant provisions of GB
31701.
5.3.3 Natural color and bleached products are not subject to the assessment of
the color fastness to soap-washing, color fastness to rubbing, color fastness to
perspiration, color fastness to water.
5.3.10 Tight-mouthed products and shorts are not subject to the assessment of
twisting rate after water-washing.
5.3.11 For the quick-drying performance after moisture absorption, it only
assesses the garment products on which this function is indicated.
5.4 Appearance quality requirements
5.4.1 Surface defects
5.4.3 Dimensional difference at symmetrical parts
The dimensional difference at symmetrical parts is as shown in Table 4.
5.4.4 Sewing requirements
5.4.4.1 The shoulder joints of the garments, the commissure of the crotch, the
edges of the seams shall be reinforced.
6 Test
6.1 Number of samples
6.1.1 For the intrinsic quality, randomly take 4 samples based on batches, types,
colors. If it is insufficient, it may increase the number of pieces.
6.2 Intrinsic quality inspection
6.2.1 Preparation and test conditions
6.2.1.1 The sample taken shall have no defects which may affect the test.
6.2.2 Test method
6.2.2.1 Fiber content
It is performed according to the provisions of GB/T 2910, FZ/T 01057, FZ/T
01026, FZ/T 01095, FZ/T 01101.
6.2.2.2 Formaldehyde content
It is performed according to the provisions of GB/T 2912.1.
6.2.2.3 pH value
It is performed according to the provisions of GB/T 7573.
6.2.2.4 Odor
It is performed according to the provisions of GB 18401.
6.2.2.8 Color fastness to rubbing
It is performed according to the provisions of GB/T 3920, only on the
longitudinal direction.
6.2.2.9 Color fastness to water
It is performed according to the provisions of GB/T 5713.
6.2.2.10 Color fastness to light
It is performed according to the provisions of method 3 of GB/T 8427-2008.
6.2.2.15 Pilling
It is performed according to the provisions of the method E of GB/T 4802.1-
2008.It is graded according to GSB 16-1523 Photos of pilling sample of knitted
fabric.
6.2.2.16 Dimensional change rate after washing
6.2.2.17 Twisting rate after washing
6.2.2.17.1 Washing and drying methods
It is performed according to the washing and drying methods for the
dimensional change rate after washing.
6.3 Appearance quality inspection
6.3.1 Appearance quality inspection conditions
6.3.1.1 Generally, it uses light inspection in a light source which has an
illumination of not less than 600 lx. If natural light sources are used indoors, the
natural north light shall prevail.
6.3.2 Measurement location and measurement method
6.3.3 Grading of color difference
It is graded according to GB/T 250.
6.3.4 Skewed grain
It is performed according to the provisions of GB/T 14801.
7 Decision rules
7.1 Batch Judgement for intrinsic quality
7.2 Batch Judgement for appearance quality
For the appearance quality, calculate the nonconformance grade rate based on
types and colors.
7.3 Judgement of single piece
If the number of product inspections is lower than the number of samples in
batch judgement, for the intrinsic quality and appearance quality, according to
the requirements of 7.1 and 7.2, it only judges the tested sample, indicates in
the inspection report.
7.4 Other judgments
It is not allowed for garments to have defects which have serious impact onto
use.
7.5 Re-inspection
8 Product instructions, packaging, transportation, storage
8.1 Instructions for use of the product shall be carried out in accordance with
the provisions of GB/T 5296.4.Children products are implemented in
accordance with the provisions of GB/T 5296.4 and GB 31701.
8.3 The transportation of the product shall avoid moisture, fire, contamination.
8.4 The product shall be stored in a cool, ventilated, dry and clean warehouse.
Pay attention to preventing moth and mildew.
