YBB NATIONAL STANDARD OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA Tests for hydrolytic resistance of glass grains at 121 °C Tests for hydrolytic resistance of glass grains at 121 °C This method is suitable for titration determination and grading of water resistance of various medicinal glass materials. This method is a material testing method. Take a certain amount of glass grains of a specified size. Place them in a specified container. Add a specified amount of water. Heat them under specified conditions. Determine the degree of erosion of the glass grain by titrating the leaching solution. Grade it. Instruments: High-pressure steam sterilizer, conical flask, beaker (Note: New flasks and beakers must be subject to aging treatment, that is, add an appropriate amount of water to the flasks and beakers; process them repeatedly according to the hot-pressing conditions specified in the test steps; it can be used only after the water is neutral to methyl red), oven, hammer, mortar and pestle made of quenched steel (see Figure 1), a set of stainless steel screens (including screen A: pore size 425 µm, screen B: pore size 300 µm , O screen: pore size 600 ~ 1000 µm). Figure 1 -- Mortar and pestle Test product: Crush the test product into pieces. Put an appropriate amount into the mortar. Insert the pestle. Use a hammer to hit the pestle only once. Transfer the glass in the mortar to the O sieve on the upper layer of the sieve set. Repeat the above operation process. Use a ......
