This standard is applicable to the electronic information products which are covered in the pollution control key management catalogue as specified in the Electronic information product pollution control management method.2 Normative referencesThe provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Standard through reference in this Standard. SJ/T 11365-2006 Testing methods for hazardous substances in electronic information products3 Terms and definitionsThe following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Substance It refers to the elementary substance or compound which is existed in nature AND is composed of chemical elements. 3.2 Hazardous substance HS It refers to the lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE, excluding decabromodiphenyl ether) as contained in the electronic information products. 3.9 Components It refers to the structural unit in the electronic information product which has a certain function or application, such as components, chassis, bracket, screws, switches, wires, and so on. 3.10 Test unit It refers to the sample which can be directly submitted for quantitative detection without requiring further mechanical disassembly.4 RequirementsThe electronic information products are generally composed of components and materials. AND its basic composition unit is material.
