Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009 "Directives for standardization - Part 1.Structure and drafting of standards". This standard replaces QC/T 564-2008 "Performance requirements and bench test methods for passenger car brake". Compared with QC/T 564-2008, the main technical changes are as follows. - MODIFY the definitions of the terms "average braking torque" and "average braking pressure" (see 3.3, 3.6; 3.3 and 3.6 of the 2008 edition); - ADD the terms and definitions of "invariable input mode" and "invariable output mode" (see 3.13, 3.14) - MODIFY the benchmark vehicle speed and speed stability evaluation indicators for the braking torque evaluation in the efficiency test (see 4.1.1, 4.1.3, 4.1.8; 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.1.5 of the 2008 edition); - ADD the room temperature efficiency test (see 4.1.2, 4.1.7, 7.1.4, 7.1.13); - ADD the one pipeline failure test (see 4.1.4, 7.1.7); - ADD the thermal efficiency test after the fading test (see 4.1.5c), 7.1.9.3); - ADD the quantitative evaluation method and evaluation indicator of brake drag phenomenon, after the decline recovery test (see 4.1.5 d), 7.1.9.6.1); - ADD the braking efficiency test after the wear test (see 4.2.2, 7.2.5) - ADD the calculation method of the rotation moment of inertia for the failure test of one pipeline (see 6.3.2); - MODIFY the initial brake temperature of the wear test (see 7.2.4; 7.2.3 of the 2008 edition). This standard was proposed by AND shall be under the jurisdiction of the National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC 114). Drafting organizations of this standard. China FAW Co., Ltd. Technology Center, Zhejiang Wanan Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Asia-Pacific Mechanical and Electrical Co., Ltd., Hebei Xingyue Brake Element Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard. Lin Dahai, Hou Zonggang, Hu Shuibing, Shen Kunrui, Wu Changjiang, Wang Shishuang, Shi Ruikang. This standard replaces the standard previously issued as follows. - JB 3980-85 and JB 4200-86; - QC/T 564-1999 and QC/T 582-1999; - QC/T 564-2008. Performance requirements and test methods for passenger car service brake

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the terms and definitions, performance requirements, test-related requirements, test preparations, test methods for passenger car service brake assemblies. 1.2 This standard is applicable to the service brake assembly and friction lining (lining block) assembly, for the category M1 passenger car, which is specified in GB/T 15089.

2 Normative references

The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable to this document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including all the amendments) is applicable to this standard. GB/T 5620 Road vehicles - Braking of automotive vehicles and their trailers - Vocabulary GB/T 15089 Classification of power-driven vehicles and trailers QC/T 556 Automobile brake - Temperature measurement and thermocouple mounting

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 5620, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this standard. 3.1 Braking period In the continuous braking process, the elapsed time, from the beginning of this braking to the beginning of the next braking. Note. The unit of braking period is s. 3.2 Initial braking temperature The temperature of the brake drum (disc) or friction lining (lining block), at the start of braking. Note. The unit of initial braking temperature is °C.

4 Performance requirements

4.1 Brake performance test 4.1.1 The first efficiency test Carry out the test according to 7.1.2.When the initial braking speed is 100 km/h [For vehicle, whose Vmax (Vmax is the highest design speed of the car, the same below) less than 100 km/h, it is Vmax], the average braking torque of the sample, under the specified braking pressure, shall not be lower than 80% of the lower design limit (where there is no lower design limit, it shall not be lower than 72% of the design value OR as negotiated by both parties). 4.1.2 The first room temperature efficiency test Carry out test according to 7.1.4.The average braking torque of the sample, under the specified braking pressure, shall not be lower than 75% of the average braking torque, under the same braking pressure as the corresponding initial braking speed, in the second efficiency test. 4.1.4 Failure test of piping system (optional) Carry out test according to 7.1.7.When the braking pressure is the rated braking pressure, the average braking deceleration of the sample shall not be less than 3.0 m/s2. 4.1.8 The third efficiency test Same as 4.1.3. 4.1.9 Braking noise During the test process of 7.1, the braking noise value of the sample shall be less than 76dB (A). 4.1.10 Sample requirements after test After completing the test of 7.1, the brake shall work normally AND meet the following requirements. 4.2 Abrasion test of brake 4.2.1 Abrasion requirements 4.2.1.1 The abrasion of brake friction linings (lining block) and brake drums (disks) shall be negotiated between the supplier and the buyer.

5 Test-related requirements

5.1 Test equipment 5.1.1 The test equipment is an inertial brake test bench (both single and double wheels are acceptable). Its performance indicators shall meet the test requirements of this standard. 5.1.5 The test equipment shall be able to continuously record the following parameters. The measurement error shall meet the following requirements. 5.1.6 The device and thermocouple, which are used for measuring the temperature of the brake drum (disc) and friction lining (lining block), shall comply with the relevant requirements in QC/T 556. 5.1.7 The accuracy grade of the instrument or meter, which indicates each parameter, shall not be lower than grade 2.5. 5.2 Other requirements 5.2.1 All test vehicle speeds shall be rounded off to an integral multiple of 5. 5.2.5 For all tests, which are carried out according to the brake deceleration control, it shall use the formula (12) to convert the brake deceleration into the braking torque control value of the test bench. 5.2.6 The radial runout of the brake drum, after installation (measured at the middle of the width direction of the friction surface of the brake drum), shall not be greater than 0.2 mm
