This standard applies to compound microbial fertilizers. 2 Normative references The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable to this document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including all the amendments) is applicable to this standard. GB/T 8170 Rules of rounding off for numerical values & expression and judgement of limiting values GB/T 19524.1 Determination of fecal coliforms in fertilizers GB/T 19524.2 Determination of mortality of ascarid egg in fertilizers HG/T 2843 Chemical fertilizer products - Standard volumetric, standard, reagent and indicator solutions for chemical analysis NY 525 Organic fertilizer NY/T 1113 Terms of microbial fertilizer NY/T 1978 Fertilizers - Determination of mercury, arsenic, cadmium, lead and chromium content NY/T 2321 Code of practice for inspection of microbial fertilizers 3 Terms and definitions The terms and definitions as defined in NY/T 1113, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document. 3.1 Compound microbial fertilizers The live microbial products that are compounded by specific microorganisms and nutrients; can provide, maintain or improve plant nutrition; increase the yield of agricultural products OR improve the quality of agricultural products. 3.2 Total primary nutrient The sum of total nitrogen, effective phosphorus pentoxide, potassium oxide, which is calculated as mass fraction. 4 Requirements 4.1 Bacterial species The microbial species used shall be safe and effective. The producer shall provide a classification and identification report of the bacterial species, including complete information such as the scientific name of the genus and species, morphology, physiological and biochemical characteristics, identification basis, as well as the safety evaluation data of the bacterial species. The use of bioengineered bacteria shall have relevant approvals for biosafety, which allows large-scale release. 4.2 Appearance (sensory) Homogeneous liquid or solid. Suspended liquid products shall not have a large amount of precipitation; the precipitation shall be evenly dispersed after gentle shaking. Powder products shall be loose. Granular products shall be free of obvious mechanical impurities AND uniform in size. 4.3 Technical index The technical index of the compound microbial fertilizer shall meet the requirements of Table 1. Product dosage forms are divided into liquid and solid. The solid dosage forms include powder and granular forms. 5.2 Determination of the count of effective viable bacteria, miscellaneous bacteria rate, moisture, pH It is performed according to the requirements of NY/T 2321. 5.3 Determination of total nitrogen (N) content It is performed according to the requirements of NY 525. 5.4 Determination of phosphorus (P2O5) content It is performed according to the requirements of NY 525. 5.5 Determination of potassium (K2O) content It is performed according to the requirements of NY/T 2321. 5.6 Determination of organic matters It is performed according to the requirements of NY 525. 5.7 Determination of the count of fecal coliform bacteria It is performed according to the requirements of GB/T 19524.1. For the retrieval table for the determination process and the most probable number (MPN) of fecal coliform count, please refer to Appendix D of NY/T 2321. 5.8 Determination of the death rate of ascarid eggs It is performed according to the requirements of GB/T 19524.2. 5.9 Determination of Arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), chromium (Cr) mercury (Hg) It is performed according to the requirements of NY/T 1978. 6 Inspection rules 6.1 Inspection classification 6.1.1 Exit-factory inspection When the product is exit-factory, it shall be inspected by the quality inspection department of the manufacturer, according to Table 1. The expiration date is not inspected, during the exit-factory inspection. 6.1.2 Type inspection 7 Packaging, labeling, transportation, storage 7.1 Packaging Choose appropriate packaging materials, containers, forms, methods, according to different product dosage forms, to meet the basic requirements of product packaging. The product packaging shall contain the product qualification and instructions for use. In the instruction for use, it shall indicate the scope of use, methods, dosage, precautions. 7.2 Markings The content, which are marked on the label, shall comply with the provisions of national laws and regulations. 7.2.1 Product name and trademark It shall indicate the general name of the product, that has been specified by the national standards and industry standards. For the name of the product OR the name of the product with a special purpose, it may be marked, under the general name of the product, by the font of smaller size. If the national standards and industry standards do not provide for the general name of the product, it shall use the name of the product, that will not cause misunderstanding and confusion among users and consumers. Enterprises can mark the registered trademarks. 7.2.2 Product specifications It shall indicate the net weight of the product in each package; use the national legal unit of measurement. The error range of the marked net weight shall not exceed ±5% of its stated value. 7.2.3 Implemented standard of product It shall indicate the standard number implemented by the product. 7.2.4 Registration certificate number of product It shall indicate the valid registration certificate number of product. 7.2.5 Name and address of manufacturer It shall indicate the name, address, postal code, contact number of the manufacturer, who has been registered in accordance with the law AND can bear the responsibility for product quality. For the imported products, it may be exempted from the marking of the name and address of the manufacturer; however, it shall indicate the place of origin (country/region) of the product, as .......
