This Standard applies to particle bentonite for pet litters processed from natural bentonite.2 Normative referencesThe following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For the dated references, only the editions with the dates indicated are applicable to this document. For the undated references, the latest edition (including all the amendments) are applicable to this document. GB/T 6003.1 Test sieves of metal wire cloth HG/T 2825-2009 Granule Bentonite3 Requirements3.1 Appearance quality Particle bentonite for pet litters shall be free of foreign impurity. 3.2 Physical properties The physical properties of particle bentonite for pet litters shall comply with the requirements of Table 1. Table 1 -- Physical properties of particle bentonite for pet litters 4.3 Moisture 4.3.1 Apparatus 4.3.1.1 Balance. The accuracy is not more than 0.01 g. 4.3.1.2 Drying oven. It can be controlled at 105°C±3°C. 4.3.1.3 Dryer. It contains allochroic silica gel. 4.3.1.4 Stainless steel plate. Φ150 mm. 4.3.2 Test procedures 4.3.2.1 USE a balance to weigh 20 g (accurate to 0.01 g) of the sample; and PLACE it in a pre-constant weight stainless steel plate, to spread the sample evenly over the stainless steel plate. 4.3.2.2 WEIGH the sample and stainless steel plate again (accurate to 0.01 g) and RECORD. 4.3.2.3 The stainless steel plate containing the sample is placed in a drying oven of 105°C±3°C and continuously dried for 2.5 h. 4.3.2.4 TAKE the stainless steel plate containing the sample out; PLACE it in a drying oven to cool to room temperature; and WEIGH (accurate to 0.01 g). 4.3.2.5 DRY, COOL, and weigh repeatedly until constant weight. 4.3.3 Result calculation The moisture content w1 (%) of particle bentonite for pet litters shall be calculated according to formula (2). Where. m3 - The mass of sample and stainless steel plate before drying, in grams (g); m4 - The mass of sample and stainless steel plate after drying, in grams (g); m0 - The mass of sample before drying, in grams (g); The arithmetic mean of the results of two parallel determinations shall be taken as the determination result. The absolute error of the two parallel determinations shall be no more than 2.0%, otherwise it shall be re-determined. m7 - The mass of sample, in grams (g). The arithmetic mean of the results of parallel determinations shall be taken as the determination result. The absolute error of the parallel determination results shall be no more than 3.0%, otherwise it shall be re-determined. 4.5 Bulk density It shall be performed in accordance with the provisions of 5.7 in HG/T 2825- 2009. 4.6 Caking shape and caking strength 4.6.1 Reagents 4.6.1.1 Plastic container. 25 cm×12 cm×8 cm (length×width×height). 4.6.1.2 NaCl solution. Concentration is 1%. 4.6.1.3 Needle tubing. not less than 10 mL. 4.6.1.4 Graduated ruler. 4.6.1.5 Timer. Accuracy is 0.1 s. 4.6.2 Test procedures 4.6.2.1 WEIGH 1 kg of sample (accurate to 1 g); and LAY it flat in a plastic container. 4.6.2.2 From a height of 2.5 cm, in 4 s ~ 5 s time, USE a needle tubing to inject 10 mL of NaCl solution into the sample. 4.6.2.3 After 10 s, POUR out the caking test block. 4.6.2.4 OBSERVE the caking shape and RECORD it. 4.6.2.5 LET the test block fall freely from a height of 15 cm; and RECORD the number of times the test block falls when it is broken.5 Inspection rules5.1 Lot-grouping principle 500 t of particle bentonite for pet litters is a lot. Less than 500 t is also counted as a lot. 5.2 Sampling method ......Source: Above contents are excerpted from the full-copy PDF -- translated/reviewed by: www.ChineseStandard.net / Wayne Zheng et al. |
