The entrained gas during the installation is not considered as a leak. 6.1.3 Valve sealing performance test at high temperature 6.1.3.1 After the valve that has passed the test in 6.1.2 and the test device return to room temperature, put them together into the high-temperature test chamber at (100 3) C. In accordance with the maximum operating pressure specified in GB 1796.4, introduce the compressed air; after placing it for at least 48 h, press and loosen the valve core once. The entrained gas during the installation is not considered as a leak. 6.1.3.2 Immediately immerse the valve, together with the test device, in clean water at (66 3) C, make the mouth of the valve face upward and at a distance of not more than 25 mm away from the liquid surface. In accordance with the maximum operating pressure specified in GB 1796.4, introduce compressed air; within 60 s, observe and record whether there are bubbles escaping from the valve. For the valves with a core sleeve, observe and record whether there are bubbles escaping from the joints between the core sleeve and valve core, and the core sleeve and valve base. The entrained gas during the installation is not considered as a leak. 6.2 Sealing Performance Test of Valve and Valve Hole 6.2.1 Sealing performance test of valve and valve hole at room temperature The test is carried out after the rubber has been placed for over 24 h after vulcanization. At room temperature, use a special-purpose torque wrench to install Type H01 valve core that complies with GB 1796.6 in the core chamber of the test valve with a torque of 0.23 N m ~ 0.34 N m, then, in accordance with the assembly torque specified in GB 1796.4, install the valve on the simulated rim device shown in Figure 2 (when installing Type CN03C valve body, in order to ensure the reliability of the thread connection sealing, a suitable sealing medium shall be added to the thread pair). Immerse the simulated rim device in the water, make the mouth of the valve face upward; the distance between the sealing part of the valve rim and the liquid level shall not exceed 25 mm. Then, in accordance with the maximum operating pressure specified in GB 1796.4, introduce compressed air; within 60 s, observe and record whether there are bubbles escaping from the sealing part of the valve hole. The entrained gas during the installation is not considered as a leak. 6.2.2 Sealing performance test of valve and valve hole at low temperature 6.2.2.1 Put the valve that has passed the test in 6.2.1, together with the test device, into a low- temperature chamber at ( 40 3) C; under a pressure of (180 15) kPa, place them for 24 h. The entrained gas during the installation is not considered as a leak. 6.2.2.2 Under the constant pressure of (180 15) kPa, immerse the test device in ethanol or methanol at ( 40 3) C; make the mouth of the valve face upward; the distance between the sealing part of the valve rim and the liquid level shall not exceed 25 mm. Within 60 s, observe and record whether there are bubbles escaping from the sealing part of the valve hole. The entrained gas during the installation is not considered as a leak. 6.2.2.3 Increase the air pressure to (1,400 150) kPa. Within 60 s, observe and record whether there are bubbles escaping from the sealing part of the valve hole. The entrained gas during the installation is not considered as a leak. 6.2.3 Sealing performance test of valve and valve hole at high temperature 6.2.3.1 After the valve that has passed the test in 6.2.2 and the test device return to room temperature, put them together into the high-temperature test chamber at (100 3) C. Under the pressure of (1,400 150) kPa, place it for 72 h. The entrained gas during the installation is not considered as a leak. 6.2.3.2 Under the constant pressure of (1,400 150) kPa, immerse the valve, together with the test device, into clean water at (66 3) C. Make the mouth of the valve face upward; the distance between the sealing part of the valve rim and the liquid level shall not exceed 25 mm. Within 60 s, observe and record whether there are bubbles escaping from the sealing part of the valve hole. The entrained gas during the installation is not considered as a leak.7 Assembly Torque TestIn accordance with the torque of 1.6 times the maximum recommended installation torque specified in GB 1796.4, install the valve in the test plate hole that complies with the stipulations of Table 1. Then, immediately remove it; observe and record whether the valve body or the valve base manifests any cracking or screw loose.8 Corrosion Resistance TestOn a representative test rim made of steel or aluminum alloy, install the valve.
