Different application scenarios may involve gesture recognition. b) The selection of virtual reality glasses shall consider factors such as simulation, smooth speed, and degree of interaction. The parameters of the virtual reality device shall meet the requirements of the support platform, wireless transmission, computer host, screen clarity, tracking mode, handle controller, positioning accuracy, anti-blocking property, movable range, and symmetry. c) If a head-mounted display device is used, the device shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 38259-2019. d) It shall satisfy at least meet the minimum equipment of virtual reality hardware system. 4.2.2.3 Software requirements It shall select virtual scene modeling development, video processing, audio editing, image processing software and VR development engine. 4.2.2.4 Modeling requirements The following prospective shall be included: a) The importance of the task; b) the frequency of the task; c) the difficulty of the task; d) The time required to complete the task. 5.3.4 Describe the task The following principles shall be followed: a) As true as possible, the methods that may be referred to include: --- Describe the environment familiar to the participants in real life; --- Include some details in real life, such as "prepare to cook after returning home in the afternoon", so that participants can integrate into the role as much as possible. b) Easy to understand. c) Only give participants the information needed to complete the task. 5.4 Scene construction 5.4.1 Construction of virtual reality scene The construction of the virtual reality scene shall meet the requirements in 4.2.2 and shall include the following elements: a) Contains to evaluate the various environmental elements in the use scenarios of consumer products, such as light and sound; b) Contains to evaluate the other artifacts in the environment where the consumer products are used, and their mutual relationship is consistent with the actual situation, such as placement, etc. 5.4.2 Construction of the physical scene The physical scene shall meet the requirements for selecting the physical scene in 4.2.3. --- Background introduction; --- Task introduction; --- Process introduction; --- Precautions. 3) Questionnaire. According to the purpose of the evaluation, it may be determined whether participants need to fill in the questionnaire. The questionnaire includes questionnaires related to participant information and questionnaires related to evaluation, etc. Questionnaires related to participant information usually include the following: --- Personal information such as gender, age, and educational background; --- specific skill level or knowledge level, etc.; --- The actual use and familiarity of the product. Questionnaires related to evaluation usually include the following: --- the difficulty of the task; --- the degree of danger of the task in real life; --- The possibility of a certain hazard occurring in real life; --- The severity of a hazard in real life. 4) Interview outline, which usually includes: --- Participants' understanding of the task; --- Participants' thoughts and feelings during the execution of the evaluation task; --- The hazards that the participant thinks that he or she may occur in the evaluation task; --- How do participants take measures to avoid possible hazards; --- What other hazards do the participants think are not found in the evaluation task, but may occur in real life; --- Participants' suggestions and ideas on the evaluation. c) The requirements for participant selection are as follows: 6.2.2 Perform evaluation Participants shall complete the evaluation according to the task design, and the specific process is shown in A.3.2.

7 Data Collection and Result Analysis

7.1 Data collection 7.1.1 Principles of data collection The following principles shall be followed: a) It includes the objective measurable data and subjective feelings of participants; b) Pay attention to the process and results of completing the task at the same time; c) Respect and protect the privacy of participants. 7.1.2 Objective data collection The following aspects shall be included: a) Time to complete the task; b) The number of mis-operations when completing the task; c) Contact that does not occur danger but exist potential danger during the operation. 7.1.3 Subjective data collection The following aspects shall be included: a) Participants' understanding deviation of functions and working methods; b) Participants' perception of the hazard; c) Explore heuristic questions. 7.2 Analysis of the results 7.2.1 Analysis of objective data results The following aspects shall be included: a) The typical exposure of the consumer product; b) Use behavior that may cause injury;

Appendix A

(Informative) Example of Hazard Identification of Electric Pressure Cooker based on Scenario Simulation A.1 Purpose It mainly studies the potential hazards caused by user behaviors to find out the potential hazards of the electric pressure cooker. The object of the evaluation is people; whether it is the environment or the modeling of consumer products, the most representative and general products and environments are selected as prototypes. Through user behavior analysis, we may get closer to the user's real usage and discover the existence of hazard from the user's perspective. A.2 Simulation scenario design A.2.1 Determine consumer products According to the needs of the evaluation, determine the consumer products to be identified for hazards. This example is an electric pressure cooker. A.2.2 Selecting the evaluation form According to the basic requirements in 4.2, select the virtual reality scenario evaluation form. A.2.3 Evaluation task design The design of evaluation tasks for electric pressure cookers includes: a) Take out the cooker from the storage place; b) Wipe and clean; c) Assembly (outer cookpot, inner cookpot, etc.); d) Plug in the power cord; e) Fill the inner cookpot with raw rice and wash the rice; f) Put the inner cookpot into the outer cookpot; g) Add water to the inner cookpot; h) Press the switch; d) Perform evaluation: During the experiment, participants should try their best to complete the task independently; and the experimenter should try not to give the participant prompts. In some special cases, the experimenter may perform a certain degree intervention on the formal experiment according to the actual experimental situation; these special circumstances include but are not limited to: 1) When the participant is very likely to have accidents and dangers during the evaluation process, the evaluation personnel immediately intervene in the evaluation process to prevent the participant from becoming dangerous; 2) When the participant has experienced accidents and dangers during the evaluation process, the evaluation personnel shall immediately terminate the experiment; 3) When the participant takes too long to perform the task and cannot complete the task independently, the evaluation personnel may prompt the participant appropriately, but the prompt process should be recorded; 4) When a participant asks for help from the evaluation personnel, the evaluation personnel may give appropriate help, but the help process should be recorded. e) Fill out the questionnaire. f) Interview the participants. g) Researchers collect data. h) Analyze and evaluate the evaluation results. NOTE: The actual procedures may be adjusted and selected appropriately according to the evaluation requirements. A.4 Data collection and result analysis According to data collection principle in 7.1, perform subjective and objective data collection and analyze the results. ......
