Directives for selection and application of transfer switching equipment1 ScopeThis Standard specifies the product properties, technical parameters and structural types that should be paid attention to during the selection and application of transfer switching equipment (TSE), and the environmental conditions in use. This Standard is applicable to the selection and application of the TSE with a nominal voltage of no more than AC 1,000V① or DC 1,500V. TSE is used in the transfer between two power supplies, so as to guarantee the continuous power supply to the loads. During TSE transfer, it is allowed to conduct momentary interruption② to provide loads with power supply.
