3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions specified in DIN EN 10269, GB/T 3098.1, GB/T 3098.2, GB/T 3098.4, GB/T 3098.6, GB/T 3098.15 apply to this Part.

4 Material and mechanical property grade

4.1 Mechanical properties Table 1 gives austenitic steel fasteners with a minimum operating temperature of - 200 °C. The properties of the material shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 3098.6 and GB/T 3098.15. 1 Source: Beuth Publishing Co., Ltd., Berlin 10772. 2 Source: TÜV Publishing Co., Ltd. Rheinland, Postal Code 101750, 50672 Cologne. - The tensile strength of the nut material shall be higher than 70% of the tensile strength of the bolt material; - The reasonable matching of bolt and nut materials is shown in Table 3. Note: If the bolt material is selected according to Table 3 and a load-bearing sleeve is used, the load-bearing sleeve shall preferably be made of the same material as the bolt. 4.2.2 Bolts with full load capacity Bolts that meet the following requirements at the time of fracture can be considered to have full load capacity: - When the bolts are subjected to a tensile test, the minimum tensile load (Rm,min × As, nominal) in Table 4a or Table 5a can be reached; - When the bolts made of steel and nickel-chromium steel in Table 2 are tested according to GB/T 3098.1, the fracture shall occur within the length of the unthreaded thread; - When the bolts made of austenitic steel in Table 1 are tested according to GB/T 3098.6, the fracture shall occur within the length of the unthreaded thread or the unthreaded shank. 4.2.3 Nuts with full load capacity When broken, nuts that meet the following requirements can be considered to have full load capacity: - The nut can withstand the minimum tensile load of the bolt given in Table 4a or Table 5a (Rm,min × As, nominal); - The outer diameter of the round nut or the minimum width across flats of the hexagonal nut meets the requirements of GB/T 3104; - The minimum height of the coarse-pitch nut meets the requirements of Type 1; the minimum height of the fine-pitch nut meets the requirements of Type 2. performed on the actual bolts in accordance with GB/T 3098.6 to determine RP0.2, Rm, A. For bolts with full load-bearing capacity and materials in accordance with Table 2, a tensile test is performed on the actual bolts in accordance with GB/T 3098.1 to determine Rm (Table 3). 5.3 Nuts with full load-bearing capacity Arbitration test: For nuts with full load-bearing capacity and materials in accordance with Table 1 or Table 2, the proof load is determined in accordance with GB/T 3098.2 or GB/T 3098.4 (Table 4b or Table 5b). 5.4 Bolts with reduced load-bearing capacity Arbitration test: For waisted shank bolts with reduced load-bearing capacity and materials in accordance with Table 1, a tensile test is performed on the actual bolts in accordance with GB/T 228 to determine: RP0.2, Rm, A, Z (according to DIN EN 10269). For bolts with reduced bearing capacity and materials in accordance with Table 1, low head bearing capacity, and uniform performance (such as grade 50, state as +AT according to DIN EN 10269), tensile tests are carried out on machined samples according to GB/T 228 to determine: RP0.2, Rm, A, Z (according to DIN EN 10269). For bolts with reduced bearing capacity and materials in accordance with Table 1, low head bearing capacity, grade 70 (state as +C700 according to DIN EN 10269), and cold work hardened, tensile tests are carried out on the actual bolts according to GB/T 3098.6 to determine the minimum tensile load. For bolts with reduced bearing capacity and materials in accordance with Table 2, tensile tests are carried out on machined samples according to GB/T228 to determine: RP0.2, Rm, A, Z (according to DIN EN 10269). Only when the bolt length cannot be subjected to tensile testing, its Vickers hardness value is tested according to GB/T 4340.1 (according to GB/T 3098.1). 5.5 Nuts with reduced load capacity For nuts with reduced load capacity and materials in accordance with Table 1, the proof load shall be determined according to GB/T 3098.2 or GB/T 3098.4. For nuts with reduced load capacity and materials in accordance with Table 2, the Vickers hardness shall be determined according to Table 2 and GB/T 4340.1.

6 Identification marks

Connector products that meet the requirements of this Part must have the manufacturer's identification mark; the steel group and performance grade shall be made according to Table 1, or the manufacturer's identification mark and material abbreviation shall be made according to Table 2. If there is no other agreement, the marking requirements shall be selected from GB/T 3098.6, GB/T 3098.15 or GB/T 3098.4, or GB/T13807.2 and GB/T 13807.3. When the design of austenitic bolts or nuts requires a certain material, the material number shall be used instead of the steel group selected according to GB/T 3098.6 or GB/T 3098.15.

7 Marking

Fasteners made of cold-toughness or high-temperature strength materials shall be marked with the steel group and performance grade according to Table 1, or the abbreviation of the material shall be marked according to Table 2, for example: Marking of equal-length double-headed studs with thread specification d = M30, nominal length l = 200 mm, L-type, material A4-70, product grade TB, surface with oxidation treatment: Stud GB/T 13807.2 LM30×200-TB-A4-70-Oxidation Marking of equal-length double-headed studs with thread specification d = M30, nominal length l = 200 mm, L-type, material GA, product grade TB, surface with oxidation treatment: Stud GB/T 13807.2 LM30×200-TB-GA-oxidation When austenitic bolts or nuts are designed with certain materials, the material number shall be used instead of the marking of the steel group selected according to GB/T 3098.6 or GB/T 3098.15: Stud GB/T 13807.2 LM30×200-TB-1.4541-70-oxidation ......
