Extra-high strength structural steel plates in the heat-treatment condition1 ScopeThis standard specifies the ordering content, designation indication method, size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of extra- high strength structural steel plates in the heat-treatment condition. This standard is applicable to steel plates with a thickness of not more than 50 mm for construction machinery such as mines, buildings and agriculture.2 Normative referencesThe following documents are essential to the application of this document. Q1200D, wherein.5 Size, shape, weight and allowable deviation5.1 Unevenness 5.1.1 The unevenness of the steel plate shall comply with the requirements of Class N in Table 1.Through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser and as indicated in the contract, the unevenness may also be in accordance with the provisions of the Class S in Table 1. 5.1.3 When the waveform spacing (the distance between the ruler and the contact point of the steel plate) is 300 mm ~ 1000 mm, for the Class N unevenness, the maximum allowable value of the unevenness is 1.5% of the waveform spacing, and does not exceed the value specified in Table 1; for the Class S unevenness, the maximum allowable value of the unevenness is 1% of the waveform spacing, and does not exceed the value specified in Table 1. 5.3 Through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser, it may also supply the steel plates of other sizes, shapes, weights and allowable deviations.6 Technical requirements6.1 Designation and chemical composition 6.1.1 The designation and chemical composition of the steel (melting analysis) 6.1.1.4 According to the user’s requirements, through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser, it may specify the carbon equivalent of each designation. The carbon equivalent is calculated according to formula (1) (Appendix A lists the reference value of carbon equivalent). 6.1.2 The allowable deviation of the chemical composition of the finished steel plate shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 222. 6.2 Smelting method The steel is smelted by a converter or an electric furnace, refined outside the furnace. 6.4 Mechanical properties 6.4.1 The mechanical properties of the steel plate shall comply with the requirements of Table 3. 6.5 Surface quality 6.5.1 The surface of steel plates shall be free from cracks, air bubbles, crusting, folding, inclusions, or other defects. The steel plate shall not be delaminated. If the above surface defects present, they are allowed to be removed, the depth 6.5.2 The surface of the steel plate is allowed to have a thin-layer of iron oxide scale, rust, surface roughness caused by the falling of the iron oxide scale, scratches, indentations or other local defects, that do not hinder the inspection of surface defects, but the depth shall not exceed half of the thickness tolerance, meanwhile it shall ensure the minimum thickness of the steel plate. 6.5.3 Steel plates are not allowed to weld-repair. 6.6 Ultrasonic testing If required by the manufacturer, the steel plate can be ultrasonically tested piece by piece, the test method shall follow the provisions of GB/T 2970.Through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser, it may also use other testing criteria, the specific testing criteria and qualification grade shall be indicated in the contract.7 Test methodsThe inspection items, sampling quantities, sampling methods and test methods of the steel plates shall comply with the requirements of Table 4.8 Inspection rules8.1 The acceptance of the steel plate shall be carried out by the technical supervision department of the supplier. 8.2 Steel plates shall be accepted in batches. Each batch shall consist of steel plates of the same designation, the same heat number, the same thickness, the same heat treatment system.
