3 Terms and definitions

For the purpose of this document, the following terms and definitions apply. 3.1 coiled A whole piece of profile wound into a series of adjacent coils. 3.2 pancake A single-layer profile wound into a disc shape by spiral winding, a coiled profile shaped like a mosquito-repellent coil. 3.3 traverse wound A coiled profile with each turn wound into a layer parallel to the coiled profile, so that the adjacent turns in any layer are close to each other. 3.5 on spools A shaft made of steel, wood, plastic and other materials, on which the profile is regularly wound layer by layer in a certain winding direction.

4 Classification and marking

4.1 Product classification 4.1.1 The classification, designation, code, state and supply form of profiles shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. 4.2 Product marking Profile marking is indicated in the order of product name, serial number of this document, designation (or code), state, length and drawing number. Straight-strip profiles are directly marked with length dimensions. The marking examples are as follows.

5 Technical requirements

5.1 Chemical composition The chemical composition of TAg0.04, TAg0.07, TAg0.04-0.004, TAg0.07-0.004, TAg0.1-0.004 profiles shall comply with the provisions of Table 3, and the chemical composition of profiles of other designations shall comply with the corresponding provisions in GB/T 5231. 5.2 Dimensions and their allowable deviations 5.2.1 Dimensions of cross section 5.2.1.1 The allowable deviation of dimensions of the cross section of profiles in M30 state shall be agreed by the supplier and purchaser. 5.2.4 Fillet radius of edges and corners The maximum fillet radius of edges and corners of profiles shall comply with the provisions of Table 9. 5.2.6 Length Both ends of profiles shall be sawed flat. The irregular length of straight-strip profiles is 500 mm ~ 8500 mm, the fixed length or multiple length shall be within the irregular length range, and the allowable deviation of fixed length or multiple length shall comply with the provisions of Table 11. 5.2.7 Cutting bevel Under the condition that the allowable deviation of fixed length is not exceeded, the cutting bevel of the end face of a profile shall not be greater than 1.5 % of the larger value of the maximum width (Wmax) or the maximum height (hmax) of the profile. 5.2.8 Geometric tolerance 5.4 Electrical properties The electrical properties of profiles at 20 °C shall comply with the requirements of Table 14.

6 Test methods

6.1 Chemical composition The chemical composition analysis method for profiles shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 5121 (all parts) and YS/T 482.The arbitration test method shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 5121 (all parts). 6.2 Dimensions and their allowable deviations 6.3.2 Hardness test The Brinell hardness test method for profiles shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 231.1; the Vickers hardness test method for profiles shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 4340.1. 6.4 Electrical properties The test method for electrical properties of profiles shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 3048.2 and GB/T 32791, the arbitration test method shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 3048.2, and the electrical conductivity corresponding to the resistivity is shown in Annex A. The electrical properties test pieces shall be processed into samples that meet the requirements of GB/T 3048.2. 6.5 Hydrogen embrittlement test The hydrogen embrittlement test method for profiles shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 23606.

7 Inspection rules
