1 Scope

This Part of GB/T 25387 specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, inspection rules and product-related information of full-power AC-DC-AC voltage-type converters for wind turbines generator system. This Part is applicable to the full-power AC-DC-AC voltage-type converters for wind turbines generator system (hereinafter referred to as “the converters”).

3 Terms and Definitions

What is defined in GB/T 3859.1 and GB/T 2900.53, and the following terms and definitions are applicable to this document. 3.1 generator-side converter A conversion unit that converts the AC electricity of the voltage, current amplitude and frequency change output by the wind turbines into DC electricity. 3.2 grid-side converter A conversion unit that converts the DC electricity output by the generator-side converter into AC electricity that satisfies the requirements of the power grid, and feeds back to the power grid. 3.10 grid-side rated voltage The root mean square value of the fundamental wave of the conductor line voltage between the low-voltage side of the boosting transformer adapted to the wind turbine and the grid-side converter. 3.11 grid-side operating voltage range The grid-side voltage variation interval corresponding to the continuous operation of the grid- side converter. 3.12 grid-side rated current The root mean square value of the fundamental wave current output by the grid-side converter under the operating conditions of the lower limit of the voltage operating range of the grid-side converter, the rated power and the unity power factor of the grid-side converter. 3.20 DC current content Within a grid electrical cycle, in the current fed into the grid by the converter, the average DC current as a percentage of the root mean value of the current. 3.21 DC voltage ripple coefficient The ratio of the effective value of AC harmonic component in the DC voltage to the average value of the DC voltage. 3.22 efficiency of converter Under the operating conditions of the grid-side rated voltage, grid-side rated frequency and unity power factor of the grid-side converter, the ratio of the output active power of the grid- side converter to the input active power of the generator-side converter, expressed as a percentage. 3.23 function of fault recorder When a fault occurs in the converter, the converter has the function of automatically storing the waveform at the time of the fault.

4 General Requirements

4.1 Requirements for Conditions of Use 4.1.1 Environmental conditions of normal operation The environmental conditions of the operation of the converter shall comply with the stipulations of GB/T 4798.3.The requirements are as follows. 4.1.2 Electrical conditions 4.1.2.1 Grid-side frequency range When the frequency deviation of the power grid is within the range of 2.5 Hz ~ +2.5 Hz of the rated frequency, the converter shall be able to normally operate. 4.1.2.2 Grid voltage range When the voltage deviation of the low-voltage side grid of the boosting transformer connected to the grid-side converter is within the range of 10% ~ +10%, the converter shall be able to operate continuously and normally. 4.2 Cabinets and Components 4.2.1 Cabinet design requirements The cabinet design shall satisfy the following requirements. and surface, and shall comply with the stipulations of GB/T 3797. 4.2.2 Component requirements The components shall satisfy the following requirements. phenomenon of loosening or state changes after vibration. 4.2.3 Electrical connection requirements 4.2.3.1 The correctness of each electrical connection shall be ensured. Auxiliary devices, such as. relays, contactors, micro circuit breakers and electronic components, shall be confirmed to be qualified before the assembly. 4.2.3.2 The laying and connection of cables and wires shall comply with the stipulations of GB/T 5226.1. 4.3 Performance Indicators 4.3.1 Converter efficiency Under the operating conditions of the grid-side rated voltage, grid-side rated frequency, grid- side rated power and grid-side unity power factor, the converter efficiency shall not be lower than 97%. 4.3.2 Grid-side power factor The converter shall be equipped with the control function that enables the grid-side power factor to be adjustable between the capacitive 0.95 and the inductive 0.95. 4.3.7 Generator-side voltage change rate (dU/dt) In accordance with the actual application conditions of the converter (for example, the cable length at the installation site) and the maximum stress that the generator turns can withstand, design the size of the dU/dt suppression filter of the converter. When the converter operates in the wind turbine, the change rate of the generator-side converter output line voltage and the phase-to-ground voltage shall satisfy dU/dt  1,000 V/s.

5 Test Methods

The test methods shall comply with GB/T 25387.2.

6 Inspection Rules

6.1 Type Test 6.1.1 Test requirements Type test is a test that comprehensively assesses product performance and quality, and verifies whether the product complies with the technical requirements. When one of the following circumstances occurs, type test shall be carried out. 6.1.2 Sampling method The samples for type test shall be sampled from a batch of products that have passed the exit- factory test, and the number of samples shall be no less than two. 6.1.3 Determination rules The type test items shall comply with the technical stipulations of the product. If all the items are qualified, the product shall be determined as qualified; if any item is disqualified, then, the product shall be determined as disqualified. 6.2 Exit-factory Test In order to evaluate the product performance and ensure that the product complies with the relevant requirements of relevant standards and type test, the assembled converter shall undergo exit-factory test.

7 Marking, Packaging, Storage and Transportation

7.1 Marking 7.1.1 Product marking The converter shall have a nameplate at an appropriate location. The content of the nameplate is as follows. 7.1.2 Packaging marking On the outer packaging of the converter, there are markings of receipt and delivery, packaging, storage and transportation, as well as safety warning, which shall comply with the relevant stipulations of GB/T 191 and GB/T 13384. 7.2 Packaging 7.3 Storage 7.3.1 The climatic conditions shall satisfy the following requirements. 7.3.2 Specific storage hazards shall satisfy the following requirements. 7.4 Transportation 7.4.1 The climatic conditions shall satisfy the following requirements. 7.4.2 The equipment shall be packaged with part of the packaging box of the supplier.
