This Standard replaces GB/T 21331-2008 “Fluff pulp”. Compared with GB/T 21331-2008, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes in this Standard are as follows. a) deleted GB/T 7979 as a reference; added GB/T 22804, GB/T 22902, GB/T 24991, GB/T 24992, GB/T 24997, GB/T 27741-2018, GB/T 34845 as references; b) deleted product levels; c) modified D65 brightness, tightness, burst resistance, dry bulkiness, water absorption time, water absorption, and dustiness requirements (see 5.1 of this Edition, 5.1 of Edition 2008); d) added footnotes to Table 1 to make a supplementary description of the requirements of the fluff pulp D65 brightness and burst resistance indicator; e) modified the dichloromethane extract indicator to acetone extract; accordingly revised the requirements and test methods (see 5.1 and 6.11 of this Edition, 5.1 and 6.6 of Edition 2008); f) added the requirements for the content of mobile fluorescent substances, absorbable organic halogens (AOX), lead (Pb), arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), and mercury (Hg) and corresponding measurement methods (see 5.1 and Clause 6 of this Edition); g) modified "sanitation indicator" to "microbiological indicator" (see 5.2 and 6.16 of this Edition, 5.2 and 6.11 of Edition 2008); h) modified the acceptance quality limit (AQL) in the inspection rules accordingly based on the revised indicators in Clause 5; i) added the note for dispersion method of fluff pulp board (see A.3 of this Edition); j) modified test methods for dry bulkiness, water absorption time and water absorption amount (see Annex B of this Edition, Annex B of Edition 2008). Fluff pulp1 ScopeThis Standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marks, packaging, transportation, storage for fluff pulp. There are no obvious fiber bundles.6 Test methods6.1 Specimen extraction The specimen is extracted according to GB/T 740. 6.2 Specimen handling and test conditions 6.3 Quantitative deviation Quantitative deviation is determined according to GB/T 451.2. 6.4 Tightness Tightness is measured according to GB/T 451.3. 6.5 Burst resistance Burst strength is measured according to GB/T 1539. 6.6 D65 brightness D65 brightness is measured according to GB/T 7974. 6.11 Acetone extract Acetone extract is determined measured to GB/T 22902. 6.12 Absorbable organic halogen (AOX) AOX is measured according to GB/T 34845. 6.14 Dustiness Dustiness is determined according to GB/T 10740.When the test result of either the laboratory paper test method or the pulp board test method is conforming, the result is determined as conforming. 6.15 Delivery moisture Delivery moisture is measured according to GB/T 462.7 Inspection rules7.1 The manufacturer shall ensure that the fluff pulp produced meets the requirements of this Standard or the order contract. 7.2 If the microbiological indicators or raw materials are nonconforming, the batch is determined to be nonconforming. 7.3 Sampling for product delivery inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 2828.1.The sample unit is roll or piece. 7.4 When sampling, the external packaging of the sample shall be checked first. Then take a specimen from it for inspection. 7.5 Acceptability determination. The number of samples inspected for the first time shall be equal to the first sample size given in the plan. If the number of nonconforming products found in the first sample is less than or equal to the first acceptance number, the batch shall be considered acceptable. 7.6 If the buyer has objections to the quality of the product, the batch of products shall be sealed up and notified to the supplier within three months after arrival (or as stipulated in the contract).8 Marks, packaging, transportation and storage8.1 Each batch of fluff pulp shall be marked with the product name, implementation standard number, production date, batch number, manufacturer name, manufacturer address, product specifications, product type and other information, accompanying with a product certificate. 8.4 During the handling process, the products shall be handled with care, kept from rain and moisture.
