1 Scope

This Standard specifies the requirements and test methods for 6 amusement devices of bungee jumping, tightrope, children’s entertainment park, inflatable bounce, tethered sightseeing balloon, and flying trapeze. This Standard is applicable to the design, manufacture, installation, use, inspection etc. of the above 6 amusement devices.

3 Requirements

3.1 Bearing 3.1.1 The bearing and contact surface that have relative movement shall take the lubrication measures to facilitate to add lubricant. Under the rated load, the position having relative movement is not allowed to form the oil droplets; while the position not having the relative movement shall not leak oil. 3.2 Connection between bolts and pin roll 3.3 Welding 3.4 Parts 3.5 Metal materials 3.5.1 The metal materials shall meet the requirements of relevant national standards, there must have the qualification document that can prove the quality. 3.6 Fiberglass and other non-metallic materials 3.7 Base and tower 3.8 Mechanical transmission 3.9 Steel wire-rope 3.10 Appearance

4 Bungee jumping

4.1 Bungee jumping platform (diving platform) 4.1.1 The active load of bungee jumping platform (diving platform) shall be calculated to be no less than 3kN/m2. 4.2 Requirements for bounce space and landing area 4.2.1 The bounce space of high bungee jumping shall meet the following requirements. 4.2.2 The bouncing pace of ejection bungee shall meet the following requirements. 4.2.2.1 There shall be no obstacles in the safe space above the ejection bungee. 4.3 Requirements for lifting, falling and transmission system 4.3.1 The manned steel wire-rope shall use the flexible self-lubricating steel wire- rope; its safety coefficient shall be greater than 10; other material bearing rope’s safety coefficient shall also be no greater than 10. 4.3.2 The two hoists on the left and right sides of the ejection bungee shall have synchronous control system during the running period; the two hoists shall be installed lifting and falling limit devices with the same height; the limit device shall be safe and reliable. 4.3.3 The diameter ratio between small bungee pulley/drum and the steel wire-rope shall be no less than 10 times. 4.4 Requirements of elastic rope 4.5 Requirements for ejection bungee cabin and locking device 4.6 Requirements for safe accessories 4.6.1 Safe accessories shall be attached with certificate, product certification or type test report, the safety coefficient shall be no less than 10. 4.7 Other equipment 4.7.1 On the lading place of the bungee jumping, there shall be weighing device and physical examination; and record the above results. 4.7.2 The working staff shall take necessary safety precautions. 4.8 Test and inspection 4.8.1 After the completion of the newly-built or rebuilt bungee jumping equipment, the manufacturing and installing organizations shall perform test and self-inspection; and fill in the self-inspection report in details. 4.9 Management, maintenance and care 4.9.1 The nameplate shall be set up on the obvious place of the bungee jumping entrance, which shall mark the detailed notice to tourists. The operator and service staff must explain the safety precautions to tourists in time. 4.9.2 The maintenance and care of the elastic rope. During the using period, check the elastic ropes every day, and check the change of dynamic load and no-load length of the elastic ropes; if the abnormal situation is found, replace the ropes immediately; record the number of rope-jumping every day. 4.9.3 The bungee jumping load shall be strictly controlled in the use load range of the elastic rope.

5 Tightrope

5.1 Major parameters The maximum chord dip angle of tightrope shall not exceed 10°; The instantaneous speed of pulley before touching the buffer shall be 3.5m/s below; The wind speed of use environment shall be no greater than 8m/s; 5.2 Loadbearing cable shall be set alone and the foundation shall be fixed 5.4 Loadbearing and traction cable 5.4.1 The safety coefficient (the ratio between minimum breaking tension and the maximum calculated tension) of loadbearing and traction cable shall be no less than 5; the dynamic load coefficient shall be no greater than 2. 5.4.2 The ratio between the vertical load and minimum tension of loadbearing cable shall be no greater than 1/10. 5.4.3 The diameter of loadbearing cable shall be no less than 12mm. 5.5 Pulley 5.5.1 The safety coefficient of all components of sliding trolley shall be no less than 6. 5.5.2 The trolley pulley must be designed with the device that prevent the steel wire- rope to slip from the pulley. 5.6 Hanging parts and riding objects 5.6.1 The riding objects shall have the product certificate, product certification, and type test report. The certificate shall mark the materials, rated load, breaking strength, and the like parameter; the breaking tension shall be no less than 12kN. 5.7 Braking (buffering) devices 5.7.1 When the tightrope reaches the arrival point (end-point station), the braking system with reliable performance must be set; the braking process shall be stable, safe, and ensure the reliable buffering and braking functions. 5.8 Recovery device 5.8.1 The recovery device shall be equipped with the device that prevent the rope falling off from the pulley, and device that prevent the rope broken or winding. 5.10 Service 5.10.1 The tightrope site shall have detailed notice to the tourists; and be published on the obvious place. 5.11 Test and inspection 5.11.1 After the construction completion of newly-built or rebuilt tightrope facilities, the manufacturing and installing organizations shall perform test or self-inspection, and fill in the self-inspection report in details. 5.11.2 Before performing the human test, conduct the test with simulated load; measure the maximum descent seed, pre-approaching speed, and braking effect.

6 Children’s entertainment park

6.1 Frames and connectors 6.1.1 The materials of the frames shall conform to the following provisions. 6.1.2 The soft protective cover shall adopt the flame retardant soft composite materials; the wall thickness shall be greater than 15mm. 6.1.3 The frame conjoined grid shall be 1.2m × 1.2m or 1.3m × 1.3m; and can withstand 500N/m horizontal thrust at the height of 1m. 6.2 Plastic parts 6.2.1 The plastic parts shall have sufficient strength and rigidity. 6.3 Organic glass parts 6.3.1 The organic glass materials shall meet the requirements of hygiene and environmental protection. 6.4 Rope net 6.4.1 The materials of rope net shall conform to the provisions of GB/T 5725. 6.5 Soft pack protection 6.5.1 Where within the reach of the children, there shall be no exposed sharp edges, sharp corners, burrs, and dangerous protrusions. 6.5.2 The beam, pillar and the like structures within the reach of the children shall be equipped with soft pack protection. 6.5.3 The ground shall be paved soft layer. 6.6 Sliding board 6.6.1 The start point place must be equipped with horizontal-bar handle; so that promote the children to slid downward in the specified gesture. 6.6.2 The sliding board surface shall be smooth; the difference between interface gap and height shall be less than 3mm; and the lower port shall be no higher than the upper port. 6.7 Pulley 6.7.1 The pulley can be divided into flat pulley and slanting pulley as per the installation mode. 6.7.2 The two sides and ground of the pulley shall take safe protection measures. 6.7.3 The pulley shall run in the sliding channel; no falling off situation shall occur. 6.8 Trapeze and flying rings The trapeze and flying rings shall conform to the provisions of GB 6675. 6.9 Trampoline 6.9.1 The edges of trampoline shall be paved foam plastic cushion; the metal frame shall not be exposed. 6.9.2 The safety net shall be equipped with around the trampoline. 6.10 Ocean ball

7 Inflatable bounce

7.1 Raw materials 7.2 Size requirements 7.2.1 The thickness of main pad shall be greater than 500mm. 7.2.2 The guardrail height shall be greater than 650mm. 7.2.3 The vertical height difference between main component platform and main pad shall be less than 2m. 7.3 Sewing 7.3.1 The sewing pitch is of 4~7/cm; all the positions that have been sewn and pasted shall be exempted from obvious wrinkles and damage; the protection of sewing lines shall be pasted by the 20mm-wide cloth of the same colour. 7.4 The design wind pressure shall be at 700Pa ~ 1580Pa. 7.5 Appearance 7.5.1 The surface shall be smooth and flat without winkles or dirt.

8 Tethered Sightseeing Balloon

8.1 Main sphere 8.1.1 The main sphere shall be double-layer bladder structure. 8.1.2 The internal bladder shall adopt the composite materials with good sealing property, large tensile strength, and long service life. The air permeability shall be less than 1L/m2 • 24h • 15°C. The longitudinal tensile strength shall be greater than 600N/mm2; the horizontal tensile strength shall be greater than 500N/mm2; the temperature range for limit use shall be greater than -35°C ~ 60°C. 8.3 Ropes 8.3.1 The safety coefficient of main rope (the rope controlling the balloon lifting) shall be greater than 10. 8.3.2 The amount of safety rope (ensuring the safe mooring between the balloon and ground) shall be no less than 3 pieces; its safety coefficient shall be greater than 10. 8.4 Hanging parts and riding objects 8.4.1 The riding objects shall have product certificate, product certification or type test report. Its breaking tension shall be no less than 12kN. 8.5 Other requirements 8.5.1 There shall be weighing device on the site; when the passenger is lifted; the difference between his weight plus sand bag weight and the lifting force shall be less than 150N.

9 Flying Trapeze

9.1 Requirements of lifting system 9.1.1 There shall be the rising and falling limit switches; the limit switches shall be safe and reliable. 9.2 Hanging parts and riding objects 9.2.1 The riding objects shall have product certificate, product certification or type test report. Its breaking strength shall be no less than 12kN. 9.3 Necessary acoustic signal device shall be equipped with 9.4 The two sides of the passenger running shall reserve the safe distance no less than 10m. ......
