1 Scope

This Standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport, and storage of in-vehicle satellite navigation equipment (hereafter referred to as equipment). This Standard applies to the development and production of in-vehicle satellite navigation equipment. Other in-vehicle electronic products which combine wireless communication and satellite navigation and have route navigation function can refer for use.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 In-vehicle satellite navigation equipment The equipment, which is based on satellite positioning, combines with other positioning means to obtain vehicle position data, and matches with the map database for navigation to obtain vehicle position data and guide in real time. 3.2 Map database for navigation A database of digital map information stored in a specific format and associated with navigation information. The information related to the map usually includes geocoding data, route planning data, background data, and reference data, etc. 3.3 Positioning module A functional module which is based on satellite positioning information and can incorporate the output information of other sensors to determine the vehicle position. 3.4 Map matching A technique for matching the position (track) acquired from the positioning module with the map information provided by the map database for navigation to determine the position of the vehicle on the map. 3.5 Route planning The process of using information such as the road network provided by the map database for navigation to help the driver plan the route.

4 Requirements

4.1 General 4.1.1 Equipment composition 4.1.1.1 The equipment composition shall include at least the following devices or equipment units. 4.1.1.2 The in-vehicle satellite dynamic navigation equipment shall at least include a receiving device for real-time traffic information. 4.1.2 Basic functions 4.1.2.1 It shall have at least the following basic functions. 4.1.2.2 The in-vehicle satellite dynamic navigation equipment shall also have the function of receiving, analyzing, and processing real-time traffic information. 4.1.3 Software design The following requirements shall be met. 4.1.4 Display The following requirements shall be met. 4.1.5 Voice output The following requirements shall be met. 4.1.8 Appearance quality The surface shall be free of defects such as dents, scratches, cracks, deformation, rust, mildew stain, and overflow of the infusion. The coating (plating) layer shall not be foamed, cracked, or peeled off. The text symbols and markings shall be clear and beautiful. 4.1.9 Boundary dimensions, mass, and installation Boundary dimensions, mass, and installation methods are specified by product standards, but the installation of the equipment shall not affect the driver’s safe driving. 4.2 Performance and function requirements 4.2.1 Performance 4.2.2 Functions 4.2.2.1 Vehicle positioning and map matching functions It shall have the following vehicle positioning and map matching functions. a) It shall have a reckoning navigation function, to enable the vehicle to navigate when the satellite navigation positioning system signal is blocked; b) Provide other functions with the map matching vehicle position; and provide status information for the road, position, etc. where the vehicle is located. 4.2.2.3 Target search functions The following target search functions shall be provided. 4.2.2.4 Route planning functions It shall have the following route planning functions. 4.2.2.5 Route guidance functions When the vehicle drives along the planned route, according to the position of the vehicle on the route, guidance information and prompt information shall be provided. 4.2.3 Power supply and power consumption 4.2.3.1 Power supply It shall be specified by product standards. 4.2.3.2 Power consumption It shall be specified by product standards. 4.2.4 Interfaces 4.3 Environmental adaptability 4.3.1 Dry heat work The equipment, at a temperature of 70 °C, shall be able to work normally. 4.3.2 Dry heat storage Equipment shall be able to withstand dry heat storage tests at 85 °C.

5 Test methods

5.1 Test conditions 5.1.1 Unless otherwise specified, all tests shall be carried out under test standard atmospheric conditions as follows. 5.1.2 The test site shall be selected in a place with convenient transportation, no significant electromagnetic signal interference around, and no obstacles above 10° of the circumferential elevating angle. 5.2 General requirements 5.2.1 Overview For the requirements in Clause 4, if the specific test methods are not specified in this clause, it can be done by visual inspection, drawing, text, object check, operation demonstration, or according to the method specified in the product standard. 5.2.2 Appearance quality USE visual inspection and hand-feeling to check; or USE a magnifying glass with a magnification of not more than 10. 5.2.3 Boundary dimensions, mass, and installation USE measuring tool and weighing apparatus to check the dimensions and mass. USE review method to inspect the installation requirements. 5.3 Performance and functions 5.3.1 Positioning accuracy The positioning accuracy of the satellite positioning device selected by the equipment is tested according to the method specified in the product standard. The positioning accuracy of the equipment is tested as follows. 5.3.3 Start-up time USE a stopwatch to measure the start-up time of the equipment. 5.3.4 Efficiency The test procedure is as follows. 5.3.7 Interfaces 5.3.7.1 Data communication interface The equipment’s data communication interface is, according to the product standard, connected to the corresponding communication equipment, to check the data content and format.

6 Quality assessment procedures

6.1 Inspection classification The inspection includes identification inspection and quality conformity inspection. 6.2 Identification inspection The purpose of identification inspection is to verify whether the equipment meets its specifications. In one of the following cases, an identification inspection shall be carried out. 6.2.1 Inspection items and sequence The identification inspection items and sequence are shown in Table 5. Depending on the circumstances, the user and the producer can negotiate to trim the inspection items or change the inspection sequence. 6.2.2 Number of samples 2 sets~4 sets of inspection samples are randomly drawn from the identification lot. It is also allowed to use different number of samples according to different inspection items, as specified by product standards. 6.3 Quality conformity inspection 6.3.1 Inspection classification The quality conformity inspection is divided into lot-by-lot inspection and periodic inspection. 6.3.5 Lot-by-lot inspection The purpose of lot-by-lot inspection is to judge whether the quality of each lot submitted for inspection meets the specified requirements. According to the inspection object, lot-by-lot inspection is divided into one- hundred percent inspection and sampling inspection. 6.3.5.1 One-hundred percent inspection 6.3.5.2 Sampling inspection 6.3.5.2.1 Sampling scheme From the qualified lots submitted for inspection, samples are randomly selected. Unless otherwise specified, the sampling scheme is based on the single normal inspection sampling scheme of general inspection level II specified in GB/T 2828.1-2012.Its acceptance quality limit (AQL) is specified as.

7 Marking, packaging, transport, and storage

7.1 Marking Product marking shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 191 and GB/T 6388. On the product, there shall be the following marks. trademark, enterprise name and address, product model, date of manufacture. 7.2 Packaging 7.3 Transport Once the product has been packaged, it can be transported by any means of transportation. However, during transport, rain-proof, shock-proof, and safety measures shall be taken. 7.4 Storage The packaged equipment shall be stored in a warehouse with an ambient temperature of 0 °C~35 °C, a relative humidity of less than 80%, and no acid or alkali and other corrosive gases and strong magnetic fields around.
