NOTE: Unsound kernels refer to sunflower kernels that are damaged but still have use value, including broken kernels, sprouted kernels, moldy kernels, injured kernels, spotted kernels, etc. Broken kernels refer to the seeds that are flattened and damaged and their kernels are broken; sprouted kernels refer to the seeds whose buds or radicles break through the seed coats; moldy kernels refer to the seeds whose surfaces are moldy; injured kernels refer to the seeds that are damaged by worms and their kernels are injured; spotted kernels refer to the seeds with diseased spots on kernels. 3.3 oil content The proportion of the crude fat of sunflower seeds in the mass fraction (in dry basis) of the sample. 3.4 useless material Substances other than sunflower seeds, and sunflower seeds of no use value. NOTE: Sunflower seeds for oil refer to the seeds of oilseed sunflower (oil sunflower). The seeds are small and plump, the shell is thin and black, and the oil content is high. It shall be carried out according to GB/T 5490. 7.2 Inspection batch The sunflower seeds of the same type, the same origin, the same harvest year, the same transport unit, and the same storage unit are regarded as one batch. 7.3 Grading rules 7.3.1 The pure kernel ratio and oil content shall meet the corresponding grade requirements in Table 1 and Table 2, and other indexes shall meet the requirements of relevant national regulations. 7.3.2 When the grading index fails to meet the requirements, it shall be downgraded to the next grade. Products whose grading indexes reach the third grade, but other indexes do not meet the requirements, are classified as off-grade.8 LabelingThe product name, grade, place of origin, year of harvest, and country of production shall be marked on the packaging or accompanying documents.9 Packaging, storage, and transportation9.1 Packaging The packaging shall be clean, firm, undamaged, tightly sealed, and strong, and shall not leak; it shall not bring pollution and abnormal smell to the product.
