1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification and marking, general technical requirements, technical requirements for Pan and urinal, technical requirements for lavatory, bidet, sink, test methods, inspection rules, signs and markings, instruction manual for installation and use, packaging, transportation, storage of sanitary ware. This standard is applicable to the production, sales, installation, use of various sanitary ware products, which are installed on water supply and drainage pipelines, after being matched with various corresponding accessories, in civil or public buildings.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 9195 and GB 26730-2011, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document. For ease of use, some terms and definitions in GB 26730-2011 are listed repeatedly below. 3.1 Glaze bubble Open or closed bubbles, which are appearing on the glaze. 3.2 Pin hole Small holes, that penetrate the glaze. 3.3 Pin prick Needle-like holes, which are appearing on the glaze. 3.4 Speck Different color stains on the surface of the product. 3.5 Color spot Blocky heterochromatic spots on the surface of the product. 3.6 Discoloration Unwanted spots of different colors, on the surface of the product.

4 Product classification and marking

4.1 Product classification 4.1.1 Classification method According to the water absorption rate, sanitary ware is divided into porcelain sanitary ware and stoneware-earthen sanitary ware. The pan and urinal is divided into ordinary type and water-saving type, according to the water consumption. 4.1.2 Porcelain sanitary ware The classification of porcelain sanitary ware is as shown in Table 1. 4.1.3 Stoneware-earthen sanitary ware The product classification of stoneware-earthen sanitary ware is as shown in Table 2. 4.2 Product marking

5 General technical requirements

5.1 Appearance quality 5.1.1 Glazed Except for the installation surface (excluding the stoneware-earthen cistern) and the following parts, all exposed surfaces AND the interior walls of the sewage pipes of pedestal pan and squatting pan shall be covered with glaze; the glaze shall be completely integrated with the ceramic body. 5.1.2 Maximum allowable range of appearance defects The maximum allowable range of appearance defects shall meet the requirements of Table 3. 5.1.3 Color difference There shall be no obvious color difference, between the same product or matching products. 5.2 Maximum allowable deformation The maximum allowable deformation of sanitary ware products shall meet the requirements of Table 4. 5.3 Size 5.3.1 Allowable deviation of size For dimensions, that do not indicate the size deviation or limit value of sanitary ware products, in this standard, the allowable deviation shall meet the requirements of Table 5. 5.4 Water absorption The water absorption rate of vitreous sanitary ware products E ≤ 0.5%; 5.5 Crack resistance After the crack resistance test, there shall be no crazing or split. 5.6 Single-piece mass of lightweight products The single-piece mass of lightweight products is as follows (excluding accessories). 5.7 Load bearing capacity After the load bearing capacity test, there shall be neither deformation nor visible structural damage. The loads borne by various products are as follows. 5.8 Technical requirements for matching

6 Technical requirements for pan and urinal

6.1 Size requirements 6.1.1 Installation distance of sewage draining exit of pedestal pan 6.1.2 Sewage draining exits for pedestal pans and squatting pans 6.1.3 Bolt hole for wall-hang pedestal pan The distance between the bolt holes, for the installation of wall-hang pedestal pan, shall meet the requirements of Figure B.2. The diameter of all mounting bolt holes of wall-hang pedestal pans shall be 20 mm ~ 27 mm, OR lengthened bolt holes. 6.1.4 Water seal 6.1.5 Minimum drift diameter of trap 6.1.6 Seat of pedestal pan 6.1.7 Water inlet of pedestal pan 6.1.8 Water inlet and outlet of cistern The diameter of the water inlet of the cistern shall be 25 mm or 29 mm. The diameter of the drain outlet shall be 65 mm or 85 mm. In special circumstances, it may be in accordance with the contract. 6.2 Function requirements of pan and urinal 6.2.1 Water consumption of pan and urinal requirements for water-saving products. 6.2.2 Flushing function of pedestal pans 6.2.3 Urinal function 6.2.4 Flushing function of squatting pan 6.3 Pedestal pan's flushing noise Measure the pedestal pan's flushing noise, according to 8.10.The cumulative percentage sound level L50 of flushing noise shall not exceed 55 dB(A). The cumulative percentage sound level L10 shall not exceed 65 dB(A). 6.4 Connection tightness After assembling the flushing device and the water inlet pipe, according to the installation instructions of the manufacturer, the pan and urinal shall be tested in accordance with 8.11; the connecting pipe shall have no leakage. 6.5 Dredging machine test When the pedestal pan, which has no integral trap, adopts an external trap, it shall be tested, in accordance with 8.12, before the functional test. Except for the overflow from the trap's water outlet, there shall be no leakage in other places.

7 Technical requirements for lavatory, bidet, sink

7.1 Size requirements 7.1.1 Drain outlet The size of the drain outlet shall comply with the requirements in Figure B.5. 7.1.3 Installation surface The installation surface of the faucet shall be at least 13 mm higher than the minimum overflow level of the product. 7.2 Overflow function The lavatory, sinks, hand-rinse basins, bidets, which are provided with overflow holes, are subject to an overflow test, in accordance with 8.9.It shall be kept for 5 minutes without overflow.

8 Test method

8.1 Appearance quality 8.1.1 Glaze and appearance defects Under the condition, that the diffused light on the surface of the product, is at least 1100 lx, visually inspect the glaze and appearance defects, at a distance of about 0.6 m from the product. During the inspection, the product shall be turned over, to observe each inspection surface. 8.1.2 Color difference Under the condition of at least 1100 lx of diffused light on the surface of the product, at a distance of about 2 m from the product, visually inspect a product, which is placed horizontally OR a set of products, which is placed horizontally, to see if there is any obvious color difference. 8.2 Deformation 8.2.1 Measuring instruments Measuring instruments include. 8.2.2 Measurement method 8.2.3 Deformation location and measurement method Deformation locations and measurement methods of various products are carried out, in accordance with Table 8.The schematic diagram of the measurement method is as shown in Appendix C. 8.3 Dimensions 8.4 Water absorption 8.5 Crack resistance test Take 3 uncracked specimens, which have an area of not less than 3200 mm2 and a thickness of not more than 16 mm, with one side glazed, from different parts of a product. Soak them in a solution of equal mass of anhydrous calcium chloride and water. 8.6 Single-piece mass of lightweight products Randomly select 3 ceramic products of the same model without accessories. Use a weighing instrument, which has an accuracy of 1 kg, to weigh it. Report the average value of 3 pieces. 8.7 Test of load-bearing capacity 8.8 Function test of pan and urinal 8.8.1 Functional test device 8.8.6 Particle discharge test of pedestal pan 8.8.7 Mixed medium test for pedestal pan connecting pipeline. 8.12 Dredging machine test Install the trap to be used, according to the manufacturer's instructions. Install the manual dredge machine into the pedestal pan. Pass it through the trap and the sewage draining exit. If the manufacturer has requirement, use a serpentine dredge pipe. 8.13 Anti-siphon test of flushing device The anti-siphon test of the gravity flushing device of the pedestal pan, is carried out, in accordance with the requirements of GB 26730. The anti-siphon test of the pedestal pan's pressurized flushing device shall be carried out, in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 26750. 8.14 Measurement of safety water level Install the cistern accessories in the cistern. Adjust the water inlet valve to the required working water level, according to the water consumption of the pan and urinal. Use a steel ruler, to measure the vertical distance FROM the effective working water level of the cistern TO the overflow.

9 Inspection rules

9.1 Inspection classification Product inspection is divided into exit-factory inspection and type inspection. 9.2 Exit-factory inspection 9.2.1 Inspection items The items of the exit-factory inspection shall be carried out, in accordance with the requirements in Table 11. 9.2.2 Group-batching rules and sampling scheme 9.2.3 Judgment rules The acceptance quality limit (AQL) of the exit-factory inspection items is 1.5. After all the items requiring inspection are qualified, the batch of products is qualified. If one or more of the items are unqualified, the batch of products is determined to be unqualified. 9.3 Type inspection 9.4 Sampling method For the exit-factory inspection, it shall randomly select samples from the batches, according to the sample size specified in 9.2.2.2. ......
