The glass member with glass-glass structure separated by the interlayer and bonded together through treatment is common and mostly used.4 Classification4.1 Classification by shape. 4.2 Classification by shot-bag impact performance.5 MaterialThe laminated glass consists of the combination of glass, plastic and interlayer materials. The materials adopted shall meet the requirements of relevant national standards, professional standards, technical conditions or order documents. 5.1 Glass Float glass, ordinary flat glass, patterned glass, polished wired glass, wired patterned glass, etc. may be selected. 5.2 Plastic Polycarbonate, polyurethane and polyacrylate may be selected. The plastic may be colorless, colored or coated; transparent or translucent. 5.3 Interlayer Materials with different types, components, mechanical and optical performance may be selected, such as ionoplast interlayer, PVB interlayer and EVA interlayer.6 RequirementsThe judgment of performance requirements and test methods for the laminated glass shall be in accordance with the relevant requirements specified in Table 1. 6.1.1.2 Linear defects in visible area Quantity of linear defects in visible area shall meet the requirements of Table 3. 6.1.2 Defects in edge area For the edge area of laminated glass with frames, the spot defects with diameter less than or equal to 5mm are permissible; if the spot defects are bubbles, the total area of bubbles shall not be greater than 5% of edge area. 6.1.3 Vents The defect is not permissible. 6.1.4 Chip The length or width shall not exceed the thickness of glass. 6.1.5 Delamination The defect is not permissible. 6.1.6 Creases and streaks due to interlayer inhomogeneity The defect is not permissible. 6.2 Permissible deviation in dimension 6.2.1 Permissible deviation in length and width The permissible deviation in length and width of final laminated glass shall meet the requirements of Table 4. 6.3 Degree of curvature Degree of curvature of the plane laminated glass is inspected in accordance with Section 7.5; for the arch plane, it shall not exceed 0.3%; for the wave plane, it shall not exceed 0.2%.Where the non-mineral glass is used as sheet material, the degree of curvature is jointly determined by the Supplier and the Demander. 6.4 Visible light transmittance Visible light transmittance of the laminated glass is inspected according to Section 7.5 and jointly determined by the Supplier and the Demander. 6.5 Visible light reflectance Visible light reflectance of the laminated glass is tested according to Section 7.6 and jointly determined by the Supplier and the Demander. 6.6 Wind load resistance performance Whether it is necessary to carry out this test shall be jointly determined by the Supplier and the Demander in order to reasonably select the proper material, structure, specification and dimension of laminated glass under the given wind load, or to verify whether the material, structure, specification and dimension of selected laminated glass meet the requirements of designed wind pressure. 6.7 Heat resistance The inspection is in accordance with Section 7.8.After the test, vents on the specimen are permissible and the part exceeding 13mm over the edge or vents shall be free from any bubbles or other defects. 6.8 Moisture resistance The inspection is carried out in accordance with Section 7.9.After the test, the part exceeding original edge, cut edge and vents by 15mm, 25mm and 10mm respectively shall be free from any bubbles or other defects. 6.9 Irradiation resistance The inspection is in accordance with Section 7.10.After the test, the sample shall be free from any significant discoloration, bubbles and turbidity. The relative change rate of visible light transmittance of the sample before and after the test shall not be larger than 3%. 6.10 Falling ball impact peeling performance The inspection is in accordance with Section 7.11.After the test, the interlayer shall not fracture and be exposed due to the fragment peeling. 6.11 Shot-bag impact performance The inspection is carried out in accordance with Section 7.12.After the test of each impact height, the sample shall be not damaged and/or safely damaged. Where the sample is damaged and simultaneously meets the following requirements, it is regarded as safe damage.7 Test Methods7.1 Test conditions Unless otherwise specified, all tests shall be carried out under the following conditions. 7.2 Appearance quality inspection Taking the product as sample, under the preferable natural light or scattered light, the sample is vertically placed and the sight line is vertical with glass. The observation is carried out 1m away from the sample. 7.3 Permissible deviation inspection in dimension 7.3.1 Measurement of width, length and diagonal line deviation Straight steel ruler or steel tape with the minimum scale of 1mm is used for the measurement. 7.3.2 Stacking fault Straight steel ruler with the minimum scale 0.5mm is used to measure along the glass edge and the maximum stacking fault is read. 7.4 Degree of curvature inspection The sample is placed for 4h under the test conditions specified in Section 7.1 and measured according to the requirements of GB 15763.2-2005. 7.5 Visible light transmittance test 3 samples are taken and tested according to the requirements of Chapter 4 in GB/T 5137.2-2002. 7.8 Heat resistance test 7.8.1 Specimen The specimen is prepared under the same processing technique with the product and has the same material with the product, or it is cut and taken directly from the product, but one edge of the specimen shall be part of original edge of the product. 7.8.2 Test device The electric blast oven with temperature control precision not greater than ±1ºC or the device which can heat water to boiling may be adopted as the test device. 7.10 Radiation resistance test 7.10.1 Specimen The specimen is a flat pattern test piece, and made of two pieces of colorless and transparent flat glass and interlayer material same with that of the product under the same interlayer process condition. 7.10.2 Test device It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 5137.3. 7.12.2 Test device The test devices include a fixed test frame, a clamping frame keeping the specimen within the test frame, an impact body with suspension device and release device (see Annex C) and force measurement ball device (see Annex D). The test frame shall be provided with enough rigidity and firmly fixed, and the specific requirements are detailed in Annex E.8 Inspection Rules8.1 Inspection classification The inspection is divided into delivery inspection and type inspection. 8.1.1 Delivery inspection The inspection items are dimension and deviation, appearance quality and degree of curvature, other inspection items are determined through negotiation between the Supplier and the Demander. 8.1.2 Type inspection The safety performance requirements in the technical requirements are required inspection item, other requirements are determined through negotiation between the Supplier and the Demander. 8.2 Batching and sampling rules 8.2.1 Random sampling is carried out for the permissible deviation in dimension, appearance quality and degree of curvature of the product according to Table 7. 8.2.2 Where the product is used for testing on other technical performances, random sampling with the required quantity by inspection item shall be conducted from products of this batch; 8.3 Judgment rules 8.3.1 Permissible deviation in dimension, appearance quality and degree of curvature If the unqualified products number of the permissible deviation in dimension, 8.3.5 Falling ball impact peeling performance 6 specimens are tested.
