1 Scope
This part of GB/T 23615 specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test
methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality
certificate and order form (or contract) of polyamide profiles.
This part applies to the thermal barrier materials for architecture aluminum alloy
extruded profiles - Polyamide profiles.
The extruded profiles of thermal barrier materials of other types can make
reference to this part.
2 Normative references
The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For
the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable
to this document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including
all the amendments) are applicable to this standard.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 2035 as well as the following terms
and definitions apply to this document.
4 Requirements
4.1 Product classification
Polyamide profiles are classified into type I and non-type I in accordance with
the cross-sectional structure. Typical examples of cross-sections are as shown
in Figures 1 and 2.
4.2 Marking and examples
The product marking is expressed in the order of product name, this part
number, material code, size specification (product code x length x cross-section
height), and product category (non-type I is not marked). Examples of markings
are as follows.
4.5 Microstructure
Under the observation by metallographic microscope, the glass fibers of the
polyamide profiles shall be evenly distributed, the typical distribution is shown
in Figure 4.There shall be no defects such as air bubbles (as shown in Figure
A.3) and obvious inclusions (as shown in Figure A.4).
4.7 Dimensional deviation
4.9 Appearance quality
The appearance of the polyamide profile shall be smooth, flat and uniform in
color, the surface shall not have any appearance defects that affect the use.
5 Test methods
5.1 Test environment
The laboratory temperature is 23 °C ± 2 °C and the relative humidity is 50% ±
10%.
5.2 Specimen pretreatment
All specimens are placed in a common drying oven at 140 °C ± 2 °C for 6 h and
then taken out and placed in a desiccator at 23 °C ± 2 °C for at least 2 h.
5.5 Ash
5.6 Microstructure
The microstructure is tested in accordance with the method as specified in
Appendix B.
5.7 Fracture morphology
The fracture that has been transversely stretched at room temperature is placed
under a scanning electron microscope equipped with a camera. The
magnification shall be selected at 100× ~ 500×, a representative field of view is
selected for photo recording.
5.9 Performance
5.9.1 Density
The density test is carried out in accordance with the impregnation method as
specified in GB/T 1033.1-2008.
5.10 Appearance quality
Under natural scattered light, visually inspect it with normal vision.
5.11 Aluminum alloy profile composite adaptability
The composite adaptability of aluminum alloy profiles is tested in accordance
with the method as specified in Appendix F.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Inspection and acceptance
6.1.1 The product shall be inspected by the supplier to ensure that the product
quality complies with the provisions of this part or the order form (or contract),
and it shall fill in the quality certificate.
6.2 Batching
Products shall be submitted for acceptance in batches. Each batch consists of
the polyamide profiles of the same equipment, the same component, and the
same size specifications for every 24 h during continuous production; it is also
considered as a batch during interrupted production for less than 24 h.
6.3 Inspection classification
Product inspection is divided into exit-factory inspection and regular inspection.
6.4 Inspection items and process assurance item
6.6.2 If the ash of any specimen is unqualified, the batch is judged to be
unqualified.
6.6.3 If the microstructure of any specimen is unqualified, the batch is judged
to be unqualified.
6.6.7 When the DSC melting peak temperature of any specimen is unqualified,
another double number of specimens shall be taken from the batch for repeated
test. If the repeated test results are all qualified, the batch of products is judged
to be qualified. If the DSC melting peak temperature of any one specimen is
still unqualified in the repeated test results, the batch is judged to be unqualified.
6.6.20 When the composite suitability of the aluminum alloy profile of any one
group of specimens is unqualified, another double number of specimens shall
be taken from the batch for repeated test.
7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage and
quality certificate
7.1 Marking
7.2 Packaging
The rolled strip polyamide profile should be packaged into a roll of 300 m ~
1000 m, the straight strip shaped polyamide profile should be packaged into a
bundle of 50 ~ 100 pieces.
7.3 Transportation and storage
7.3.1 In transportation and storage, it shall avoid contact with acids, alkalis,
salts and organic solvents. Avoid sun exposure, rain, impact or extrusion.
7.4 Quality certificate
Each batch of polyamide profile shall be accompanied by a product quality
certificate, indicating the information below.
