Foreword
In order to standardize the production, use and management of mining products safety
label, this Standard is formulated.
Full text of this Standard is mandatory.
This Standard was proposed by State Administration of Work Safety.
This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee of Safe
Production Standardization and Technical Committee of Coalmine Safety.
Drafting organizations of this Standard. Mining Products Safety Approval and Certification
Center (Office of Mining Products Safety Label).

Mining Products Safety Label
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the category, pattern, size, texture, color, use and management
requirements of mining products safety label.
This Standard applies to mining products that are within the safety label management and
have obtained the safety labels.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this Standard.
2.1
Mining Products
The general name of equipment, materials, instruments and meters that are used in the
mine.
2.2
Mining Products Safety Label
The graph and digital code of mining products safety label.
3 General requirements
3.1 Management system of mining products safety label is a mandatory management
system applied for mining products that are involved in the workplace safety and the health
of workers. Any mining products that are within the safety label management can only be
produced, sold and used after obtaining the mining products safety label.
3.2 Mining products safety label is a certificate to determine that mining products comply
with national standards and industrial standards, and to empower the manufacturing
organization to produce AND the using organization to purchase and use.
3.3 Mining products safety label consists of two parts, including mining products safety
6 Other requirements of labels
6.1 Texture of labels
Standard label shall be made by materials that are permitted by mine safety. Brass and
stainless steel materials are generally adopted.
6.2 Surface quality of labels
The label shall be clear and burr-free.
7 Use of labels
7.1 Label shall be added at a distinct position on the exterior of products. Specification
selected shall fit with overall size of products.
7.2 For cable, conveyor, pipe, hair dryer (air tubing cloth) and other products, the distance
between added labels shall be less than 10m, and it shall be ensured that one or more
labels are existed in the minimum using unit of products.
7.3 If the label can be added on the product’s main-body, then its label shall be added on
the minimum package of the product.
7.4 For mining products that have obtained safety label, the label shall be added before
leaving factory. For imported mining products that have obtained safety label by batch, it
shall add the label before the products are put into service.
8 Management of labels
8.1 Labels are under the centralized management of the review and issuing organization
of mining products safety label which is authorized by the nation.
8.2 For non-standard label, it can be used through an application of the manufacturing
organization that has obtained safety label to the review and issuing organization of mining
products safety label which is authorized by the nation; it can only be used after the filing
is confirmed.
8.3 For mining products that are within the safety label management, it can not use the
label without obtaining the mining products safety label.
