Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009
"Directives for standardization - Part 1.Structure and drafting of standards".
This standard replaces QC/T 564-2008 "Performance requirements and bench
test methods for passenger car brake". Compared with QC/T 564-2008, the
main technical changes are as follows.
- MODIFY the definitions of the terms "average braking torque" and "average
braking pressure" (see 3.3, 3.6; 3.3 and 3.6 of the 2008 edition);
- ADD the terms and definitions of "invariable input mode" and "invariable
output mode" (see 3.13, 3.14)
- MODIFY the benchmark vehicle speed and speed stability evaluation
indicators for the braking torque evaluation in the efficiency test (see 4.1.1,
4.1.3, 4.1.8; 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.1.5 of the 2008 edition);
- ADD the room temperature efficiency test (see 4.1.2, 4.1.7, 7.1.4, 7.1.13);
- ADD the one pipeline failure test (see 4.1.4, 7.1.7);
- ADD the thermal efficiency test after the fading test (see 4.1.5c), 7.1.9.3);
- ADD the quantitative evaluation method and evaluation indicator of brake
drag phenomenon, after the decline recovery test (see 4.1.5 d), 7.1.9.6.1);
- ADD the braking efficiency test after the wear test (see 4.2.2, 7.2.5)
- ADD the calculation method of the rotation moment of inertia for the failure
test of one pipeline (see 6.3.2);
- MODIFY the initial brake temperature of the wear test (see 7.2.4; 7.2.3 of
the 2008 edition).
This standard was proposed by AND shall be under the jurisdiction of the
National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC 114).
Drafting organizations of this standard. China FAW Co., Ltd. Technology Center,

this braking to the beginning of the next braking.
Note. The unit of braking period is s.
3.2
Initial braking temperature

the start of braking.
Note. The unit of initial braking temperature is °C.
4 Performance requirements
4.1 Brake performance test
4.1.1 The first efficiency test
Carry out the test according to 7.1.2.When the initial braking speed is 100 km/h
[For vehicle, whose Vmax (Vmax is the highest design speed of the car, the same
below) less than 100 km/h, it is Vmax], the average braking torque of the sample,
under the specified braking pressure, shall not be lower than 80% of the lower
design limit (where there is no lower design limit, it shall not be lower than 72%
of the design value OR as negotiated by both parties).
4.1.2 The first room temperature efficiency test
Carry out test according to 7.1.4.The average braking torque of the sample,
under the specified braking pressure, shall not be lower than 75% of the
average braking torque, under the same braking pressure as the corresponding
initial braking speed, in the second efficiency test.
4.1.4 Failure test of piping system (optional)
