1 Scope
This Standard specifies the base profile materials, classification, rating and labeling,
requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of
unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) profiles for the doors and windows.
This Standard is applicable to the profiles for doors and windows using unplasticized polyvinyl
chloride as the main material.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.
3.1 profiles
Profiles refer to products that are extruded and have a specific cross-sectional shape.
3.3 homogenous profiles
Homogenous profiles refer to profiles whose overall materials are consistent.
3.4 profiles laminated with foil
Profiles laminated with foil refer to profiles that are decorated with foil, which changes the
surface properties.
3.10 decorative surface
Decorative surface refers to the surface of the profiles that has been laminated with foil, co-
extruded and painted.
3.11 special decorative surface
Special decorative surface refers to a decoration consisting of non-single colors and non-flat
surfaces, etc.
3.12 decorative profiles
Decorative profiles refer to profiles with a decorative surface.
3.13 base profiles
Base profiles refer to the main body of the profiles except the decorative surface.
3.14 depth of a profile
Depth of a profile refers to the maximum distance measured between two sight surfaces on the
cross-section of the profiles along the X-axis direction, as shown in Figure 1.
4 Base Profiles
The base profile materials for the production of profiles shall comply with the requirements of
Chapter 5 in JG/T 451-2014, in which, t

5 Classification, Rating and Labeling
5.1 Classification
5.1.1 Color and process
In accordance with color and process, the profiles are classified into homogenous profiles and
decorative profiles.
5.1.2 Wall thickness of main profiles
The wall thickness of the main profiles is shown in Figure 1, and the classification is shown in
Table 2.
5.2 Rating
5.2.1 Drop weight impact of main profiles
The rating of the main profiles by drop weight impact is shown in Table 3.
5.2.3 Thermal insulation properties
The rating of the main profiles by thermal insulation properties is shown in Table 5.
5.3 Labeling and Examples of Main Profiles
5.3.1 Labeling
The main profiles are labeled as follows.
6 Requirements
6.1 Appearance
The color of the sight surface of the profiles shall be consistent, and the surface shall be smooth
and flat, without obvious unevenness or impurities. The ends of the profiles shall be clean and
free of burrs.
6.2 Dimensions and Deviations
6.2.1 Appearance and Functional Structural Dimensions
The deviations of the overall dimensions shall comply with the stipulations of Table 7.
6.2.2 Wall thickness of main profiles
The minimum wall thickness of the main profiles shall comply with the stipulations of Table 2.
6.2.3 Thickness of decorative surface
6.2.3.1 Laminated foil
The thickness of the laminated foil of FM profiles shall be not less than 0.160 mm.
6.3 Straight-line deviation
The straight-line deviation of the main profiles with a length of 1 m shall be not greater than 1
mm, and the straight-line deviation of the auxiliary profiles with a length of 1 m shall be not
greater than 3 mm.
6.4 Mass of Main Profiles
The mass of the main profiles per meter of length shall be not less than 95% of the nominal
mass.
6.5 Dimensional Change Rate after Heating
The dimensional change rate after heating of the two largest opposite sight surfaces of the main
profiles shall be not greater than 2.0%; the difference in the dimensional change rate after
heating of the two sight surfaces of each specimen shall be not greater than 0.4%.
The dimensional change rate after heating of the auxiliary profiles shall be not greater than
3.0%.
6.7 Drop Weight Impact
6.7.1 Drop weight impact of main profiles
When impacting the sight surface of homogenous profiles and the non-decorative sight surface
of decorative profiles, the number of specimens with a cracked sight surface shall not exceed 1.
6.7.2 Drop weight impact of decorative surface
When impacting the decorative sight surface of decorative profiles, no matter whether the
decorative surface is cracked or not, there shall be no separation between the decorative layer
and the base profiles.
6.8 Density
The density of the base profiles shall be not greater than 1,530 kg/m3.
6.9 Vicat Softening Temperature
The Vicat Softening Temperature (VST) of the base profiles shall be not less than 78 C.
6.10 Tensile Yield Stress and Tensile Fracture Strain
The tensile yield stress of the base profiles shall be not less than 37 MPa, and the tensile fracture
strain shall be not less than 100%.
6.11 Bending Elastic Modulus
The bending elastic modulus of the base profiles shall be not less than 2,200 MPa.
6.12 Peel Strength of Laminated Foil and Base Profiles of FM Profiles
The peel strength of the laminated foil and base profiles shall be not less than 2.5 N/mm.
6.13 Hardness of Coating Layer of TZ Profiles and Adhesion to Base Profiles
The pencil hardness of the coating layer shall be not less than Grade H.
The adhesion of the coating layer to the base profiles shall satisfy the requirements of Level-0
of the cross-cut method.
6.14 Environmental Stress Cracking Resistance of GJ Profiles
There shall be no cracks on the co-extruded surface, and no delamination or peeling between
the co-extruded layer and the base profiles.
6.15 Ageing
6.16 Weldability of Main Profiles
6.16.1 Compressive bending stress of weld fillet
The average compressive bending stress of the weld fillet shall be not less than 35 MPa, and
the minimum compressive bending stress shall be not less than 30 MPa.
6.17 Heat Transfer Coefficient of Main Profiles
The heat transfer coefficient of the main profiles shall comply with the requirements of Table
5.
6.18 Limit of Harmful Substances
The limit of harmful substances of the profiles shall comply with the requirements of GB/T
33284.
7 Test Methods
7.2 Appearance
Under natural light or an equivalent artificial light source, perform visual inspection, with a
visual inspection distance of 0.5 m.
7.3 Dimensions and Deviations
7.4 Straight-line Deviation
From three profiles, respectively cut out a specimen with a length of (1,000100) mm. Place the
concave side of the specimen downward on a standard platform of Level-3 or above.
7.5 Mass of Main Profiles
From three profiles, respectively cut out a specimen with a length of 200 mm ~ 300 mm; the
end face of the specimens shall be perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the profiles.

7.8 Drop Weight Impact
7.8.1 Drop weight impact of main profiles
7.8.1.1 Specimen preparation
From three profiles, cut out a total of 10 specimens with a length of (300 5) mm.
7.8.1.2 Test equipment
7.8.1.4 Test procedures
Place the specimen on the support frame (see Figure 3) with the surface to be impacted facing
upward. Impact the center of the specimen between the two supports and for each specimen,
impact once. The drop weight height is 1,000100 mm for Level-I, and 1,500100 mm for Level-
II and Level-III. In addition, it shall comply with the following requirements.
7.9 Density
In accordance with Method A in GB/T 1033.1-2008, carry out the test. The specimens shall be
taken from the base profiles of the profiles.
7.10 Vicat Softening Temperature
In accordance with Method B50 in GB/T 1633-2000, carry out the test. The specimens shall be
taken from the base profiles of the sight surface of the main profiles.
7.11 Tensile Yield Stress and Tensile Fracture Strain
In accordance with the stipulations of GB/T 1040.2-2006, carry out the test. The specimens
shall be taken from the base profiles of the profiles. The type of specimens is 1B, and the test
rate is 10 mm/min.
7.19 Limit of Harmful Substances
In accordance with the stipulations of GB/T 33284, carry out the test.
8 Inspection Rules
8.1 Classification of Inspection
8.1.1 Exit-factory inspection
Exit-factory inspection shall be carried out in the unit of batch. The inspection items are 6.1,
6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 6.7, 6.13, 6.14, 6.16.1.
8.1.2 Type inspection
The type inspection items are all the contents required in this Standards. In addition to ageing,
heat transfer coefficient of main profiles and limit of harmful substances, the inspection is
generally conducted once a year.
8.2 Group Batch and Sampling
8.2.1 Group batch
Products with the same raw materials, processes, formulas and the same cross-sectional
geometric structural characteristics are considered as one batch. The output of each batch shall
not exceed 50 t.
8.3 Determination Rules
8.3.1 Determination of qualified items
8.3.1.1 Determination of appearance and dimensions
The test results of appearance and dimensions shall be determined in accordance with Table 10.
8.3.1.2 Determination of other items
If the test results of ageing, heat transfer coefficient of main profiles and limit of harmful
substances are disqualified, then, the product shall be determined as disqualified.
9 Marking
9.1 Marking
9.1.1 Protective film of sight surface
The sight surface of the main profiles shall be covered with a protective film. The protective
film shall have at least serial No. of this Standard, manufacturer’s name, production address
and telephone number, etc.
9.2 Identification or Label of Main Profiles
The main profiles shall have at least one set of permanent identification on the non-sight surface
along the length direction of the profiles at an interval of 1 m, which shall include the labeling
specified in 5.3.
