3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.
3.1
industrial internet
The industry and application ecology, formed by the all-round and deep integration of
the Internet and the new generation of information technology and industrial systems,
which is the key comprehensive information infrastructure for the development of
industrial intelligence.
3.2
IPv6 address
A 128-bit network layer identifier that is allocated to an interface or a group of interfaces
in an IPv6 network.
Note: IPv6 address, by category, can be classified into unicast address, anycast address
and multicast address.
3.3
IPv6 network prefix
The upper 64-bit part of the IPv6 address, which contains the routing prefix and the
user subnet identifier.
3.4
public service provider platform
A device or a collection of devices that hosts public Internet services.
Note: Internet users access public Internet services through this platform.
3.5
IPv6 access address
The IPv6 global unicast address that is used by user equipment or public service
operation platforms to access the IPv6 Internet.
3.6
IPv6 access address carrier
An entity that applies for and obtains an IPv6 address block, and plans and uses the
address block as an Internet access address within the territory of China.
