1 Scope
This Standard specifies the expression method of designation, order, size,
shape, weight and tolerance, technical requirements, special requirements,
test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificate of
hot-rolled steel plate, sheet and strip for automobile axle housings.
This Standard is applicable to hot-rolled steel plate, sheet and strip of which
the thickness is 2.0 mm ~ 18.0 mm, for production of automobile axle
housings (hereinafter referred to as steel plate, sheet and strip).

7 Special requirements
As required by the purchaser, agreed by the supplier and the purchaser, steel
plate, sheet and strip of other special requirements such as low temperature
impact performance shall be supplied.
8 Test methods
8.1 The chemical composition analysis method of steel shall be carried out
according to the provisions of GB/T 223.5, GB/T 223.12, GB/T 223.19, GB/T
223.23, GB/T 223.40, GB/T 223.59, GB/T 223.64, GB/T 223.76, GB/T
223.85,GB/T 223.86,GB/T 4336,GB/T 20123 or general method. But the
arbitration shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 223.5, GB/T
223.12, GB/T 223.19, GB/T 223.23, GB/T 223.40, GB/T 223.59, GB/T 223.64,
GB/T 223.76, GB/T 223.85, GB/T 223.86.
8.2 The inspection items and test methods of each batch of steel plate,
sheet and strip shall comply with the provisions of Table 5.
9 Inspection rules
9.1 The steel plate, sheet and strip shall be inspected and accepted by the
quality and technical supervision department of the supplier.
9.2 The steel plate, sheet and strip shall be inspected in batches. Each
batch shall consist of same furnace number, same thick......
