Preface
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"
Drafting is required.
This document replaces GB/T 29865-2013 "Textiles - Tests for colour fastness - Colour fastness to rubbing - Small area method" and is compatible with GB/T 29865-
Compared with.2013, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
-- Changed the requirements for friction cloths, replacing GB/T 7568.2 with GB/T 33729 (see 5.2, 4.2 of the.2013 edition);
--Change the "Note" in 5.3 to a clause (see 5.3, 4.3 of the.2013 edition);
--Added content related to "balance" (see 5.5);
-- Added a chapter on "Reagents", added reference to GB/T 6682, and supplemented the requirements for test water (see Chapter 6);
-- Added "Under the negotiation of the relevant parties, the humidity can also be adjusted in the optional standard atmosphere specified in GB/T 6529.
Place the sample and the friction cloth on a screen or perforated rack to condition the moisture. Fabrics such as cotton or wool may need
A longer humidity conditioning time is required. " (see 7.3, 5.3 of the.2013 edition);
-- Changed the requirements for humidity conditioning before rating (see 8.2, 6.2 of the.2013 edition);

3 Terms and definitions
There are no terms or definitions that require definition in this document.
4 Principle
The textile sample is rubbed with a dry friction cloth and a wet friction cloth in a rotating manner, and the staining of the friction cloth is evaluated using the gray scale.
This method is specifically used for the color fastness test of textiles with small area printing or dyeing, and the tested area is smaller than GB/T 3920
The test area specified in.
5 Equipment and Materials
5.1 The friction head of the friction fastness tester is (25 ± 0.1) mm in diameter and rotates alternately in forward and reverse directions. It is installed on a vertical
The downward pressure on the pressurized rod is (11.1±0.5)N and the rotation angle is (405±3)°. Another optional diameter of the friction head is (16±
0.1) mm, and the downward pressure is (11.1±0.5) N.
Note. Other instruments that produce the same results can also be used. The correlation between this method and the results obtained in GB/T 3920 is unknown.
5.2 Friction cloth. Cotton friction cloth in accordance with GB/T 33729, cut into square pieces with a side length of (50 ± 2) mm, used for the friction specified in 5.1
Friction head.

Principle 3
The textile samples were rubbing cloth with a dry cloth and a wet friction for the rotary friction by staining with Grey cloth moistened with rubbing assessment card
Color level. This method is dedicated to textile rubbing fastness test a small area of \u200b\u200bprinting or dyeing, which has been tested area is less than GB/T 3920
The test area.
4 Equipment and Materials
4.1 rubbing fastness tester, has a diameter of (25 ± 0.1) mm friction head for rotational movement alternately positive and negative directions. An friction head
Mounted vertically pressurized rod downward pressure applied is (11.1 ± 0.5) N, the rotation angle of (405 ± 3) °. Another optional friction head
In diameter (16 ± 0.1) mm, with the same pressure.
Note. You can also use the 4.1 instrument measured the results of other similar instruments. The correlation method GB/T 3920 between the results is unknown.
4.2 friction cloth, cotton in line with standard GB/T 7568.2 as specified adjacent fabric, clipping the side length of (50 ± 2) mm square, for
Friction head 4.1 requirements.
4.3 waterproof fine sandpaper, or stainless steel wire having a diameter of 1mm, mesh metal mesh width of 20mm.
Note. The feature should be noted that the use of a metal mesh or sandpaper, when placed on the textile samples tested for, you may leave an imprint on the sample, which can cause errors
Rating. Textile fabrics preferred sandpaper test, refer to the use of 600 mesh alumina waterproof fine sandpaper.
4.4 Grey scale for assessing staining card, in line with GB/T 251.
Note. The need to regularly test the operation and verify the equipment, and make records. Generally known to use internal sample 3 times dry friction test.
5 Sample
5.1 For the fabric sample, you need the size of not less than 25mm × 25mm sample. If higher test accuracy, increase the number of samples.
