science experiments - Part 10: Storage and
reinspection
1 Scope
This Part of GB/T 28878 specifies the storage conditions and reinspection
methods of rotating component in space science experiments under specified
conditions, as well as data analysis and evaluation after storage. Among them,
if there are special requirements for the environmental conditions of storage
and reinspection in the contract or technical requirements, it shall be
implemented in accordance with the contract or technical requirements.
This Part applies to the storage and reinspection of rotating component in space
science experiments at the component level and the complete-machine level.
The storage and reinspection of rotating component of other payloads and
spacecraft platforms in the corresponding state can refer to it for use.

3 Terms and definitions
Terms and definitions determined by GB/T 28878.1 and the following ones are
applicable to this document.
3.1 Storaging term
The term of storage under certain environmental conditions from the completion
of the production and delivery to the start of use.
3.2 Parallel storage specimen
The test specimen that is stored synchronously with the product in order to
simultaneously grasp the key characteristic parameters of the product sensitive
to the storage environment and storage life, in the process of product storage.
4 Storage conditions
4.1 Ground storage environmental conditions
The ground storage environment shall meet the following requirements:
a) temperature: 20°C ± 10°C;
b) air pressure: 86 kPa ~ 106 kPa;
c) relative humidity: 30% ~ 50%;
d) cleanliness: ISO level-8 that is required by GB/T 25915.1-2010.
4.2 In-orbit storage environmental conditions
The in-orbit storage environment shall meet the following requirements:
a) For grease-lubricated rotating component that is stored in orbit, the
temperature should be above -10°C.
b) Other environmental parameters are not subject to special requirements.
5 Reinspection
5.1 Reinspection cycle
The reinspection cycle shall meet the following requirements:
a) It should be re-inspected every 6 months during the ground storaging term;
