small and special electrical machine, which is in direct interconnection with a micro fuel
pump, and through the encapsulation of the outer shell and auxiliary parts. Electric fuel
pump shall be used to pump fuel from the fuel tank to the engine in the gasoline or
diesel engine fuel supply system.
3.2 Cold Magnet Knockdown
Cold magnet knockdown refers to performance changes of fuel pump motor and its
magnetic materials at a low temperature as a result of impact current.
3.3 Anti-flexure Force on the Inlet and Outlet
Anti-flexure force on the inlet and outlet refers to the anti-deformation performance of
the inlet pipe and outlet pipe of fuel pump.
3.4 Free Flow
Free flow refers to the output flow value of fuel pump when imposing nominal voltage
on the fuel pump and placing the output flow governing valve in a full-open state.
3.5 Shut-off Pressure
Shut-off pressure refers to the output pressure value of fuel pump when imposing
nominal voltage on the fuel pump and placing the output flow governing valve in a full-
close state.
4 Classification
4.1 Classification by Installation Mode
In accordance with the mode of installation, fuel pump may be divided into:
