Foreword

GB/T 20462-2006 “Thermoplastic tubing and hoses for automotive use” includes the following 2 parts: - Part 1: Non-fuel applications; - Part 2: Petroleum-based-fuel applications. This Part is Part 2 of GB/T 20462-2006. This Part is identical to ISO 13775-2:2000 “Thermoplastic tubing and hoses for automotive use - Part 2: Petroleum-based-fuel applications” (English edition). This Part is identical to the translation of ISO 13775-2:2000. For ease of use, this Standard also makes the following editorial changes: a) The word “this International Standard” is changed to “this Part”; b) USE the decimal point “.” instead of the comma “,” as a decimal point; c) Delete the Foreword of the international standard. Annex A in this Part is an informative annex. Annexes B and C are normative annexes. This Part was proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association. This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of Subcommittee 1 on Hose, China National Standardization Technical Committee on Rubber and Rubber Products (SAC/TC 35/SC 1). Drafting organization of this Part: Taizhou Changli Resin Tube Co., Ltd. Main drafters of this Part: Peng Weixiang, Wang Yimin, Yao Qin. This Part is issued for the first time. 1 Scope

This Part of GB/T 20462 specifies the construction, type, dimensions, test requirements, and test methods for six types of extruded thermoplastic tubing and hoses with a nominal bore of 2 mm~14 mm for use in petroleum-based- fuel lines in vehicles powered by internal-combustion engines.
