This Part is Part 1 of GB/T 20462-2006. This Part is identical to ISO 13775-1:2000 “Thermoplastic tubing and hoses for automotive use - Part 1: Non-fuel applications” (English edition). This Part is identical to the translation of ISO 13775-1:2000. For ease of use, this Part also makes the following editorial changes: a) The word “this International Standard” is changed to “this Part”; b) USE the decimal point “.” instead of the comma “,” as a decimal point; c) Delete the Foreword of the international standard. Annex A in this Part is an informative annex. Annex B is a normative annex. This Part was proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association. This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of Subcommittee 1 on Hose, China National Standardization Technical Committee on Rubber and Rubber Products (SAC/TC 35/SC 1). Drafting organization of this Part: Taizhou Changli Resin Tube Co., Ltd. Main drafters of this Part: Peng Weixiang, Wang Yimin, Yao Qin. This Part is issued for the first time. Thermoplastic tubing and hoses for automotive use - Part 1: Non-fuel applications 1 Scope This Part of GB/T 20462 specifies the construction, type, dimensions, test requirements, and test methods for four types of extruded thermoplastic tubing and hoses with a nominal bore of 2 mm~14 mm for use in vehicles powered by internal-combustion engines, excluding use in air braking systems (see ISO 7628-2:1998), fuel lines (see GB/T 20462.2) and high-pressure hydraulic systems. 2 Normative references The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this Part of GB/T 20462, constitute provisions of this Part. For the dated references, their subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to this Part. However, the parties who enter into agreement based on this Part are encouraged to investigate whether the latest editions of these documents are applicable. For undated reference documents, the latest editions apply to this Part.
