This Standard replaces GB/T 1703-2008 “Cycle inner tubes”. As compared with GB/T 1703-2008, the main technical changes are as follows. - DELETE references to GB/T 1702 and HG/T 2942 (SEE Chapter 2 of the 2008 version), ADD references to GB 1796.1 and GB 1796.2 (see Chapter 2); - For “Table 1 -- Other main properties of inner tubes”, ADD the item of elongation at break of inner tubes; For the adhesive strength test of rubber base valve and tube body, ADD Footnote a; MODIFY the specification classification description in the index column of machine test mileage (SEE 4.4.2, the 4.4.2 of the 2008 version); - ADD the measuring position and measuring method for inner tube inflating volume when detecting inner tube airtightness, and MODIFY the inflating volume of Category B inner tube (SEE 5.1.1, the 5.1.1 of the 2008 version); - ADD the tensile test method for elongation at break of inner tubes (SEE 5.2). This Standard was proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. This Standard is applicable to the model vulcanized inner tube which assembles cycle tyre.
